How should Pakistan tackle S400 acquisition by India? The Drone Swarm Technology....

Besides as I said by adjusting the angles on surface u can make the signal bounce off much bigger for it's size so u can make the small drone give the same singnature as that of jf17 basic physics
A tiny few inch chaff strip bounces the same signal as that of a jet fighter due to surface design Google ;)

But turkey has Lot of experience in this tech and we r cooperating alot deary ;)
EW was the favorite non-political topic of discussion for Merhum Prof Dr Nejmettin Erbakan (He earned his PhD working on tank engine in Germany), the father of the Muslim Siyaset in Turkey and a former PM....

S-400 or any LR SAM with its long range radar is a twin bladed sword, it can hurt its user too if enemy have proper countermeasures.
Could you please elaborate? Also, could you mention any proper countermeasures?

You think they will be stationing the S-400 within 400km's from the border itself? Let alone somewhere where they can look inside our airspace?

S-400's will be their primary AD assets and will be kept further away from the borders. Manpads will still be the only thing covering the border itself...
400km is around the maximum range reportedly. So what if they are kept 100km away from the border? That still leaves a few hundred kilometres of radar range inside of enemy territory. Let's not forget that India has the qualitative and quantitative advantage in its aircraft fleet so they have plenty of firepowers to protect their S-400 systems.

Drone in swarm will give great radar signature to fool enemy radar. The whole science is of using multi million missile to hit a small value drone.
Saudi war examples are unfair. they are facing an enemy in rags with some Iranian relics of that are a rip off of the 60s era Soviet missiles
so yea every thing they will face will be 1/1000th of a cost to what they will deploy

a simplified wishful thinking.only if it works against which a lot of R&D has been done to distinguish between a decoy and a real thing

the correct and more reliable method of countering it will be electronic warfare. although the system might be protected against electronic attacks but not completely immune.

do remember , no system is used in isolation. to counter S 400 you will need a combination of methods to defeat it simultaneously deploying Decoys, making your aircraft signature smaller, using anti radiation missiles, electromagnetic attacks , creating too much electronic clutter to overwhelm the seeker of the S 400 system which a new system and all such countermeasures have been thought through so everything we talk here (as usual) is conjuncture , hypothesis and fanboy fantasy stuff.

this system is a game changer and a $200 quad copter is not a sure shot counter against it.

:lol: and the satellites? I believe the power of your prayers will make them see small drones being launched as big planes being launched???
never discount the power of prayer bro.
it melts ice and hearts at the same time

the system is smart to distinguish between a real threat and a dummy. the system has the range well inside Pakistan it can shoot down the jets or rockets that are just launched
prevention is only pre-deployment. once they are deployed. its pretty much a checkmate to PAF

this system degrades our nuclear deterrence as well reducing the strike options to a small number
Hence, you need both land based and airborne EW capabilities!! The more they expose their signals to your detetctors the more you learn!!! The more you learn the better is your response!!!! For that you need ultra fast computational capabilities from algorithms, software, hardware etc. perspectives!!! And, you require GaN type devices to be custom built to jam and deceive the enemy signal patterns!!! Hopefully, by the time S-400 reaches the Indian side Pak’s friends will have learnt tons of tricks to deter it...

I agree with you and Irfan Baloch, S400 brings new challenges and we will tackle them with our courage and determination, even installing same equipment like S400 in small numbers with low range to defend our air space from incoming S400 Missiles or use electronic counter measures to deceive S400, this will be no problem after some time, only we need to do some homework.

People are going bananas over this system. Fact of the matter is, India and Pakistan both have the ability to see hundreds of miles into each others airspace. Btw, during wartime, these systems wont be working at peak power, as that would surely give away their location to ELINT assets on either side and would get lit up. Add to that the high jamming environment that is likely in any future war, the performance of all systems would be severely degraded as well.
Not just that, shooting off salvos of million dollars plus missiles will be a sure way to run out of ammo. These missiles systems will most likely guard strategic sites within India to stave off any possible attack from PAF. Their impact on PAF, flying and fighting in its own airspace will be minimal.

The multi-layered air defence system of India will definitely hinder any PAF forays into Indian airspace. This is the intention with which a whole string of purchases are being made, and R&D being performed. India is beefing air defence with a vengeance. This means, if any saturation strikes occur on our assets from deep inside Indian territory, instead of direct retaliation, PAF will be caught up trying to circumvent Indian air defences. If you think S-400 doesn't create this situation, and if that is also the reality, then India will keep enhancing its defence until this is achieved. Thus, it is worrying if Pak Armed Forces are not trying to mitigate this risk.
