Anyways the benefits of an economic emergency are that an apolitical president can make tough decisions without the fear of backlash from his constituency with the authority of making emergency legislations they can quickly bandaid the open wounds in the economy.

Further as the head of state the president who is also an elected official can morally negotiate on behalf of Pakistan with organisations like the IMF.

A care taker government won’t be able to negotiate with the IMF unlike the President.

Imran Khan is not even some saint, he got dark past and he comprised on many things to get that PM seat, I feel he is there to just take revenge of case on his wife Jemima Khan and not for Pakistan. There are many much much better people in Pakistan than him.

The main issue right now are the energy prices which caused a balance of payment crisis, non essential imports should be temporarily banned and debt payments renegotiated.

There are many corrupt people on the left and right side of Imran Khan even IK is involved in this via Farah Khan. 25+ members of his party left him. He selected them, so all blame should be on him. How many time he will hide his mistake behind other people?

If you hire team for some project and your project fails. I am sure most of the blame will be on you and you will be the first one to be fired. But in Pakistan its opposite, low level people are always made scapegoats and Imran Khan is doing same thing on everything which fails. He blames someone else for his failure.

On current situation we are in a big mess created by establishment and I am not sure how can we get out of it . All Europe china and India is getting fuel from Russia why can’t we get it . We need to look after our own interest.
