FLASH NEWS: The word "Mullah" simply means "guardian" in farsi, referring to pious people that are fearful of Allah and are designated as guardians of faith in a certain area/village.

It denotes a scholarly person to the equivalent of "Maulana" with years and years of extensive study of Islam to say the least and has spent years serving humanity.


Now people who're misusing and abusing the word Mullah are showing their own ignorance and giving a bad name to Islam by calling the terrorists and politicians "Mullahs" that actually have no authority or study of Islamic law or practice. It's just like calling a compounder a doctor, a mechanic an engineer, a programmer scientist, to say the least.


Thanks to the British for instilling a deep-rooted hatred in our hearts against our own religious authorities.

You are right; however, irrespective of what is the literal meaning of Mullah, Allama Iqbal has used the word ‘Mullah’ for the so called ‘contractors of Islam’. The ones of believe that he is better than the rest, that he is the one who knows and capable of interpreting Islam and that it is his divine right to guide the rest of the followers of Islam. Fazal ur Rahman, Qazi Hussein, and the rest of the leadership and the workers of the JI, and JUI exactly fall in the description of Allama Iqbal’s definition. These Mullahs are a curse, they do not represent the Islam of Muhammad (PBUH) but the one they have interpreted right or wrong. These kinds of Mullahs twist and turn the religion in their favor and deliberately misguide the rest of the Muslims. I dislike them not because Brown or Obama or before them Blair and Bush told me to do so, but because of my own observations about them and their pathetic and mischievous ways.

These are not Imam Razi or Ghazali or Ibn e Tiyyam or others we are talking about. These are crooked souls whose sole purpose is to misguide the masses and achieve political gains through religious blackmailing.

DERA GHAZI KHAN: After nine months of a suicide attack on the general bus stand, the police arrested a former Taunsa Sharif Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer and his relative on Saturday night on charges of facilitating the mastermind in his visit to the Dhodak plant of the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL).

The police arrested Jamaat Islami former Tehsil Ameer, Dr Naseemullah Qaisrani, from his residence at Taunsa Sharif and Asif Khan from the Dhodak plant when he was on duty. Asif Khan is an employee of the OGDCL.

According to the police, Naseemullah Qaisrani and Ghulam Mustafa Qaisrani befriended during the Haj last year. Asif Khan had allegedly arranged a visit of alleged mastermind Ghulam Mustafa Qaisrani to the Dhodak plant before a suicide attack at the general bus stand on February 5, which left 28 people dead and over 50 injured.

The police had arrested Ghulam Mustafa Qaisrani in the last week of February and another accused, Qari Ismail Khalool, in the first week of March after the incident. The case is under trial in an anti-terrorism court. The families of both accused, Dr Naseemullah and Asif Khan, denied their involvement in any terrorist activity.

You are giving the definition but not ignoring the connotation of the word 'mullah.' Taliban means 'students' and gay means 'happy' and 'cheerful', but they are not used like that today. That is why your example of calling a compounder a doctor does not work here.

JI. mullahs are demonstrating "Go US Go" rallies. They have no concern that terrorist now killing the students in university and threaten at schools and colleges.

Munafqein are the people who recite kalma, offer prayers and all follow shariet rules but inside they kill Muslims and divide them.

If we still don't recognize these munafqein who follows all Islamic rules but also kill the Muslims and also who support them,than we can't get rid terrorism in our society.

Today the followers of yazid like zakir nalayk praising yazid and terrorist.Publications in praise of yazid coming from Banorya town madresas.

From Pakistan i have got flags with my status hope it helps ..we are talking about mullahs in Pak ,in UK & else where Esp middleeastern muslims countries they are very strict about mullahs as their priority is to ensure that a mullah is a educated man who can talk logic and give valid reasons. Your post clearly portrays Mullahs as criminals without mentioning the crimes they have commited against the State or Pakistani Public.

As a matter of fact, the Mullah that Iqbal referred to is highly debateable because there was hardly any "Mullahs" involved in Politics, rather it was lack of it.


All you have done is made enormous amount of accusations without backing your argument with any solid evidence.


You need to explain:

1) How these Mullah's twisted Islam to their liking?

2) How have they interpreted Islam that is different from that of others?

3) Unlike the other parties, What criminal activities have they committed? List them all:


4) Do they work under the Constitution of Pakistan or do they work against it?
