How do you deal with losing interest in (enthusiasm for) life?

Atheist/Agnostics don't have any 'religious' requirement of preaching.

I know. I've categorized it as loneliness or emptiness. As a religious person I've never felt the need to convince an atheist into believing in God, but from what I've observed the opposite is not true. And that is the truth for me whether it's been in Pakistan or the west. I identify that desperation as loneliness or emptiness.

Even people who have no problem whatsoever have this feeling sometimes. All is well... Financially, medically, socially, in family.

They may be rich, healthy and have a large circle of family and good friends.

But they have enthusiasm for nothing.

They have that feeling... Seen everything, now what's left..

Nothing interests such people, nothing stimulates them.

So how do you deal with losing interest in (enthusiasm for) life?

P. S.: No need to be alarmed. These are not thoughts of suicide.

Well keep busy. Life is short it will be over soon without suicide. Keep busy making money.

Also its a good thing to think about purpose of life and why are we born in this world. And what the heck is the purpose of this stupid booring life.

I found my answer so i have peace now.

You gotta be kidding me. May be you don't but Religious folks never miss a chance to preach. Take a look at this thread and see how some pious brother started preaching.

Giving advice is not the same as preaching. I've seen you on dozens of threads arbitrarily bringing up that you are an atheist, when no one has even asked you. I've never even mentioned it up until now because we are having this conversation. As long as no person attacks my faith, I have no reason to bring up their beliefs. I will however bring up my religion when it is relevant to a discussion, but at the end of the day I'm not here to force it on anyone. Listen if you are interested and walk away if you are not. When I go to Allah swt, I'm not going to be answering for anyone except myself.

1. I don't purposely bring my official belief(or lack of it). Mood of the thread changes, my comments change. I only share my 2 cents when some religious person brings up some religious quote.

2. Yes, you are better than others here, hence the reason you are one outta only 2 posters whom I follow here(and being first one). Others are not like that. There was a poster here who literally told me keep my mouth shut about my lack of belief as it gives Islam bad name and an edge to enemies and what not.

Well..

I can only speak for myself. Not forcing this on you, indirectly either.

I listen to Quran recitation, listen to such talks, daily salat helps me keep calm, motivated and aware of things and most importantly humble, grounded. As a muslim, we know this duniya is a temporary, Northing will last and the only permanent gurantee in this life is death. Ups and downs will take place, no matter how rich you are with all the worldly stuffs, without faith in Allah, without daily salat, without doing good actions i.e giving charity, sadaqah, being nice in general, you’ll always feel empty in this duniya/world.

Key to stay motivated. Be humble, have humility, give charity be less self centred, have faith in God. Listen to the Quranic recitation even non muslims get good soothing calming peaceful affect. Which can make you feel life is not all lost when you’re down with any sorts.

I would love to meet such people. But how and where to find them?

When you run after material things and someday get them all too, you experience happiness/joy for a short time proceeded by emptiness. a human being is much more than material things, look inside your soul and find the real purpose of life, the day you find that, you will feel complete, happy and satisfied.
