How do you deal with losing interest in (enthusiasm for) life?

Even people who have no problem whatsoever have this feeling sometimes. All is well... Financially, medically, socially, in family.

They may be rich, healthy and have a large circle of family and good friends.

But they have enthusiasm for nothing.

They have that feeling... Seen everything, now what's left..

Nothing interests such people, nothing stimulates them.

So how do you deal with losing interest in (enthusiasm for) life?

P. S.: No need to be alarmed. These are not thoughts of suicide.

Proper treatment, for such condition, is medicines, prescribed be some expert psychiatrist.
No medicine. Tell something natural like fruits or vegetables.

Everything in life has diminishing returns. It is true. When one feels that he has achieved everything in life. What else is there left to do? Your mind starts to wonder and we get sad with the reality that everything is temporary.

The issue is that our societies value material possessions over all else, even parents and children. When we were children our parents told us to get the degree, then you will have the money and status and then you will get the girl. This was their pathway to happiness. Things have changed because this type of thinking has lead to hyper materialism.

Our locus of control is external but how can you put your happiness in things and people? What will they do for you?
You gotta change your locus of control and drive happiness from the inside.

Medication will help you if you want but it is like putting a bandage on a leaky faucet. Ultimately, you will get sad again and your mind will wander once more.

There is a belief that when you get sad. You should help yourself by helping others. Go out and do an act of kindness.

The only act of kindness I can think of is providing euthanasia to people.

lol, I understand. Sometimes we project onto others what we want for ourselves. But what will that solve?

You can't change what others do. You only have control over yourself.

This should be the last reminder that such kind of irrelevant content wouldn't be tolerated here anymore. Stop spamming forum with general issues and less substance to discuss.
