You need neither Viper nor F-35 when you have Rafale, especially the F4 upgrade which introduces 3rd gen stealth, BTW, Rafale's systems can be used as drop-ins for Mirage-2000. Safran has already shown a 100kN non-afterburner version of the M88 and they say they can deliver a 115kN/afterburner one under 18 months... Since the 3rd gen stealth can be applied to anything, that the M88 is so small you may add about 1000L more internal fuel, they could e.g. sell their F-16s to Turkey, get all the Mirage-2000s retired by France and others, refurbish them, and, since Rafale's hourly cost is the half of F-16, the M2000-NG should fly for about the quarter, actually, it'd even be feasible to make the Gripen-C or the Tejas more capable than a Mirage-2000 or F-16 by using such versions of the M88 while Rafale F4 systems mean 5.5th generation aircraft... The money spared on cost of use would allow Greece to modernise its whole fleet without ending with their way too high 3.82% of GDP military spending for 2022! By doing so, they'd be able to modernize and stay with their usual 2.4%...
Moreover, multiple types is bad for logistics and as any EU country, it's high time to apply an EU-first policy for weaponry...
And, BTW, why don't they do like Turkey when e.g. the Su-24 violated Turkish airspace? TAF violates Greek airspace an average 8x per day... Let's them know about the MBDA Meteor, when they'll lose 8 aircraft a day, they'll soon stop : as Macron said, the only language ErdoGollum understands is force.
F-35 is a force depleter, Rafale is a force multiplier, Greece hasn't even half of Israel's GDP, they don't need a money pit like F-35...

Moreover, it's high time to start an EU nuclear sharing based on 500 ASMPA-R and also introduce the conventional version proposed by MBDA to replace the Exocet.

In fact, Rafale is exactly what USAF needs if we consider what gen Charles Q. Brown said, since F-35 will NEVER be able to replace the F-16, except he spoke about 5th gen minus, while Rafale F4 introduces the 5th gen+

That's why Egypt has ordered an additional 30 Rafales on top of the 24 it already flies since 2017. And according to the information released about the contract, those should be the F3R (some claim they will be the F4) and will come with Meteor missiles and be in line for the MICA NG as soon as it's available.
