Actually it is assumed that they can be seen and spoken to by believers of higher spiritual prowess. Prophets PBUH and then saints after them have been known to interact with Jinns. Whether you believe it or not is on you.

Not sure. But once I heard that Jinn came to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to confirm some Ayah from Quran. We have veil in our eyes so we can't see these creatures only Wali-Allah could see and communicate with them.

A ghost would be the lingering spirit of a human who has passed in the literal meaning of the word.

thats it bro, prophets like Muhammad (pbuh), Sulaiman (Pbuh) and camera lense both are two different things!!! Not sure about saints. There are legends in my village of human talking to Djinns. The word Djinn means unseen, they live in different dimension!

God created Angels, Jinn and Human to worship him!! Angels don't have self control, they only listen to Allah! But Jinns and Man both are free, and their action will be judged. On the other hand, Ghosts are dead people having supernatural power, we don't believe in Ghosts!
