Genetic distance between Iranians and Saudis

I like how much people think they know about Iran, even if they are wrong sometimes. :D

But that aside, just the idea that they are interested in Iran and read about us is indeed interesting and greatly appreciated. :D

Alot of those Caucasian Muslim groups are mixtures of Turks and Iranic people. They are very lovely people, Azeri, Chechen, Dagestan, Circassians, Crimea Tatar, Tatars, Kurds.
This is Turk DNA:

Many Caucasus people today are Iranians. Check the DNA maps that I posted above.

It's not that they are Iranian or Iranians are Caucasus people. It's the back and forth movement of people between neighboring regions for thousands of years that bring genetics of two regions closer. So when you look at the map it's no wonder that Gilaks and Mazandarani would cluster closely with some Southern Caucasus people.

Yeah, of course but it's about the relative distance
The MDS analysis (Figure 2B) further illustrates these patterns. The Mazandarani and Gilaki groups fall inside a major cluster consisting of populations from the Caucasus and West Asia and are particularly close to the South Caucasus groups—Georgians, Armenians, and Azerbaijanians. Iranians from Tehran and Isfahan are situated more distantly from these groups.

The people who have G Haplogroup are absolutely Iranians and it doesn't matter they migrated from Caucasus to Iranian plateau several thousands years ago.

Well, no. Looks like a component that peak's in a Siberian population (know the ref population?). Can't say if original proto-Turkic people carried that without checking if the component exists in the relevant ancient DNA samples.

Ydna haplogroup G is too old to be tied to any specific modern ethnicity. It's most recent common ancestor lived 25,000 years before present according to YFull.

This is original narrow-eyed real torks in middle of Asia. The rest of Anatolian, Armenian and Azerbaijani (Azarbadegan in Persian language) have become Turkified during times.

He meant that most of the people with that Haplogroup resides in contemporary Iran, so...

Azeris are very close to other Iranians, no doubt. But they do carry some Central Asian Turkic genes. I will try to show that with the tool I referred to in the OP, when I have some time.

Do you know the difference between Oghuz and Chagatai Turks?

Like Iranics, Turks had alot of diversity since the beginning as well.

Actually the place of origin is the same for Turks, Mongols, Huns, and Iranics.

Iranian and Anatolians (and Middle Eastern in usual) have J2, G, R1,2 and X DNA while the Mongol and Han people have C-M217 DNA. Two different people.
