Featured General Qamar Javed Bajwa to visit Saudi Arabia next week

.
The damage afflicted by these “KSA-Iran borne fights” is minimal and is already a History now.

I don’t hear any madrassa guy going rogue anymore. Can’t say the same for Indian enforced Terrorism inside Pak which is the only Threat to Pak, As well as the direct infiltration of Indians via Iran, Iran acting openly against Pakistan. What more should I say ?

I do second you on the “Self Reliance” thing, But to get self reliant, We didn’t do that alone, Even for the Nuke program, These two Arabs countries have their sound contribution. Could Pakistan have done that all alone ? No. Resource and material supply is needed, Pakistan doesn’t enjoy a good reputation with many countries such that it can access anything from anywhere.

In this era, Money speaks, You might be the smallest brother or the man in the house, But if you have the deepest pocket, You will be given the highest attention.

KSA, Considering itself a leader, Thats a delusional topic, If KSA thinks as such, That is due to it being a Helper to many countries thanks to deep pocket as well as hosting the two holiest sites of Islam. Other than that, KSA isn’t a leader, Never war, and never can be unless it goes rogue in terms of Military.

We OTOH, Allah have given us a short window, to catch the crown, But we are busy milking these bastard politicians sitting on top of us stealing our money and busy throwing it outside, Squeezing us of our potential, Kaash Allah ne inko paida hone se Pehle hi inko inki amma samet jahannum bhejdia hota.

Time is running out, Our relevance is diminishing every passing day. Our Mighty Power prospect is also diminishing and one day we might be just another ordinary country, UNLESS WE CURB THE CORRUPTION FROM THE CORE, BE IT GOV, Army or Courts.

The day we become self sufficient, KSA, Turkey, All will be knocking on our doors, But I don’t see that happening unfortunately. Everyday my hope goes down and down for Pakistan.

Agree to disagree on many points you made :azn: enjoy the 14th of august :pakistan:

. . . .
If you cannot even survive without help from others. You cannot lead anything. Leading needs you to be self sufficient and able to help others if they face backlash when they come along with you.

In this age when middle east is understanding that their oil well will not deliver what is required in future and hence adjusting accordingly and planning for future. Pakistan remains stuck on one single issue.

This will make you more dependent on China and you will have nobody to fallback in case they refuse.

Expecting a Pakistani to think logically without emotions is too much to ask.

This isn’t directed at you. I am talking off topic, About MUN students in general. I hope you don’t get offended and understand.

I was referring to @Blacklight ‘s comment about people coming in for shor, get applauses and go home like qawwals, reminds me of MUN kids

LOL. Indonesian current leader is just focus on the internal matter about Indonesia and ASEAN. Indonesia is the leader in ASEAN if you dont know geopolitics.

Mahathir is famous because he has lead Malaysia for many decades previously, he come back to rule Malaysia is more because of there is some thing wrong with Malaysian politics that make him come back.

If we have ambitious leader like Soekarno who have great ambition in international politics, some thing great may happen, inshaAllah. As far as I know Mahathir can only gather 2 Muslim leaders in his Summit without any meaningful result.

While this Soekarno in 1955 can bring almost all influential Asian and African leaders in historic Asian African conference in Bandung, Indonesia.

Do I need to believe you or US government ?

U.S.-INDONESIA RELATIONS

Indonesia is a vital partner in the Indo-Pacific Region and U.S.-Indonesia relations have taken on increasing importance. Indonesia is the world’s third largest democracy, largest Muslim-majority country, the seventh-largest economy by purchasing power, and a leader in ASEAN.

I do not mean to offend you and I am very aware of Indonesia's proud history and even how it helped Pakistan during war, but in recent times the simple truth of the matter is Malaysia has taken a more proactive role in global affairs. This is no criticism of Indonesia and please do not take it as such, just a reflection on the current leadership of both countries.

Elections have always been managed. Economy is in shambles because they started with $20 billion external deficit and short term loans in billions maturing and then even absorbed Corona shock very well due to good management on both governance and economic management. Now it’s pretty much back on track and on solid basis.

Frankly I stopped reading after your first sentence. Shows your certified ignorance to how Democracy works.

.
I think it is better for people who don't understand economy to not comment on the subject. I guess your statement is politically motivated.

Another tender-age immature genius from the Naizi wood works pops out! And really, how long did it take you to understand that everything these days is politically motivated? including your lousy defense of a economy in shambles, hundreds of thousands jobless, no FDI, zero economic activity, industry dead, dollar to Rs. parity out of hand, living becoming almost impossible for the masses yada yada yada!

Such comments are only found form serving military supporters of this government who are getting their monthly salaries and perks on time, ex-Pakistanis living in foreign countries, or simply deaf and dumb idiots who have no bearing whatsoever of on ground realities in Pakistan.

Sure. You are definitely more learned than I am. Can you please advise what else could be the outcome of $38 billion foreign obligation financing requirement while staring at $20 billion CAD in FY 18-19. Please provide the alternative solution in which the economy would not have taken the shock.

Do not want to get involved in mud slinging here but users should know that currently Pak economy recovering very well. IMF estimates small growth of 2.1% for 2020 compared to -5% for India. Additionally remiitences from abroad at all time high.

Could be this is also what emboldended us to stand up to Saudis. Could be that IK worked out that we could survive the worse case scenario of total Saudi removal of support.

Problem for Saudis is that once they do this they have very few cards to play. Pakistan has a few more, namely military support, relations with Iran, Turkey and Qatar.

Saudis can of course send home all Pakistanis working in Saudi but this will hurt them in the short term (many Pakistanis are in proffessional/Managment/Technical roles as well as unskilled roles) as well as us.

I think MBS has played his cards badly here. Lets wait and see outcome of COAS visit. It will lead to either gret improvement or complete cut off in my opinion. Current status quo cannot last

I don’t want to jinx it. But if the early signs are something to go by then we will beat the growth projections for this year by a large margin. Also on much more sustainable ground, unlike others who term consumption led $20 dollar deficit based consumption galore as “growth”.

Yes, and if these means this is the start of Pakistan learning to gradually but slowly stand on it's own two feet them excellent. Wind is definately blowing towards new cold war US v China.

Now UAE has recognised Israel (You can be 100% sure this decision was taken in consultation with Saudi Arabia), expect Saudis to recognise Israel soon too.

This may create a Saudi/UAE/Israel coalition against Iran and backed by US. India may then dump Iran completely and throw in everything with this coalition in which case Pakistan will need to look at a China/Iran/Turkey/Qatar formation to rival this.
