This seems to be the Nominal GDP per capita map of every distrct in South Asia...They should not have shaded Arunachal as its hard to make out the colour

This map has many flaws. Why Kerala districts are shedded light yellow despite one of the highest per capita income in India? And many central Indian districts are shedded dark, although they are the backward tribal areas.Rajsthan is a part of BIMARU states, but it was shedded mostly dark.

.
The twitter post below it...it seems to have been compiled by the World Bank

The Map has TOTALLY surprised me and upended my beliefs..I thought North India would be vastly poorer compared to Pakistan
The map is flawed.

Kerala has a high GDP per capita compared to other Indian provinces.

Besides that we Pakistanis have nothing in common with you Indians.

Except that we were under the Mughal Sultanate and the British Raj

more than 3734 US dollars per capita ...one can meke it out on the map...that is highest slab by the way ..........you may add another 1000-1500 dollars to get the upper limit of that slab

yes Indians and Pakistanis have nothing in common with each other...Mughals were only ruling North India and not North East or the South....but good thing is even in this map we can clearly see the distinction between India and Pakistan...the border can be seen even in a cluttered map such as this

Good I am glad you agree Pakistanis and Indians have nothing in common. And the differences will only grow with time.

Secondly the map you posted is flawed.

tell that to World Bank...I didnot make the map..they took the pain of finely detailing a map such as this....and I thought it is worthy of a post

Kerala runs on remittance from Gulf states, although a large state it has no industries and it has no domestic revenue apart from tourism and liquor sales.Goa,Delhi and Sikkim have largest GDP per capita in India(state-wise).

Some tribal districts have high GDP per capita due to location of state capital in Jharkhand and Chattisgarh(comparitively urbanised compared to the rest of the state)

Show me where the map is from the World Bank.

Read the few sentences below the map which says it is from the World Bank Group

But you should be cheering the map...the map says the truth that you also proclaim....Indians are much darker than Pakistanis....In the Map places that fall on the Indian side of the Border are much darker than Pakistan, which is much whiter in the map

Alright so you are right, it is from the World Bank group.

Anyways yeah you are right, Indians are more darker skinned than Pakistanis.

Now this is where I agree with you.
