GB should be given province status

GB should be given constitutional province status. It's a shame Government has not done so, though it is good Government has taken legals measures to give GB like-province integration but they are still not an official province.

Nahi yaar, i don't agree AJK & Maqbooza Kashmir belongs to Kashmiris & they have to decide what they wanna do with their land. Gilgit Baltistan is different story, there is high feeling of becoming a province of Pakistan in there still voting should be held under UN.

Pakistan will always stick to it but you need to understand that in Gilgit Baltistan there is a feeling of getting all benefits as other Pakistanis. I think Pakistan should give them option under UN monitoring, either they want to be a province or not, if majority chooses to be province than it should be made.

If Gilgit Baltistan and P0K are made provinces, you can be damn sure the LoC would be made the IB. Hence the whole crying for Kashmiri freedom goes down the drain.

Let them decide thats why I say lets begin with a referendum in those areas. India isn't going to do one & if we can have one done under the auspice of the UN...fine otherwise ask the OC, the UN & a couple of NGOs to send in their reps to Pakistan as observers (just for PR purposes) & conduct the referendum unilaterally ! The UN resolutions are already collecting dust & neither side is willing to abide by the particulars to enforce them - Pakistan isn't going to unilaterally withdraw & India isn't going to conduct a referendum anyhow....so just let us put it to bed. Perhaps this might provide those on the other side an impetus to push forward with their demands too with greater determination...perhaps not but lets make the people from these areas who are defacto Pakistanis into being dejure Pakistanis.

P.S GB is not a different story to AJK - As per the UN resolutions they're the same & should be treated as such ! I say include them both into Pakistan & still have an opinion on the greater solution to Kashmir.

Actually GB was given the rights of province 3 years ago? but could not fully made the fifth province of Pakistan for the very reason that Kashmir issue is still unresolved and if by any chance there is any free and fair plebiscite, the votes of the GB and Azad Kashmir would also be counted towards the Kashmir resolution

They do not have any discrimination and enjoys every right of the Pakistan national. Technically they are the fifth province of Pakistan since last 3 years but do not enjoy the status of the province by name.

You maid disputed territory of Arunchal Pradesh a province why can't Pakistan do the same thing? Hum Kare to baladkar Tum Karo to chamakar?

Arunachal has nothing to do with pakistan. You guys can dispute whatever the hell you want. Fact is neither India nor pakistan are gonna give up an inch. Therefore IB is probably the best solution.

Yes Pakistan should have refrendum in Gilgit Baltistan under OIC & UN presence, at least GB will be resolved. Later on AJK & Maqbooza Kashmir will have it too.

Kashmir can only be solved by nukes. India or Pakistan will have to nuke one another and Pakistan will threaten to nuke New Delhi if India doesn't hand over Kashmir... I have been saying this from day 1 only way to solve Kashmir as India is too stubborn and backstabbing to trust
