Speaking to cousins in the states, there is a large majority of orthodox jews and reformists who disagree with Zionism and don't identify as Israeli.

I believe you. What has become apparent to the cast majority of ordinary people across the world is that clearly the Palestinian people are the aggrieved at this point.

The sympathetic opinion that people held for Israelis is faltering because of the sheer excessive use of force and the number of deaths, not to mention the extreme violence meted out to the innocent population of Gaza.

Yes because Saudi Arabia considers Iran a far bigger threat to its leadership and interests in the Arab World or the region and even its regime than Israel..After all Israel has no issues with KSA leadership or influence in the region or muslim world..by contrast Iran with its own brand of Islam represent its own pole of power and influence within Arab states. So from a geo political perspective Iran is more of a threat to Saudi interests in the region than Israel can ever be. Come on I think this is quite obvious.

I have never in my life seen such open opposition to Izrahell. This is unprecedented. Social media is imploding. Not Muslims, but non-Muslims and human beings with a heart are openly criticising Israel the butcher. Unprecedented. Not even the antisemitism card is working today.

The Jewish support to Palestinians feels like a mortal blow to the morale of the Israelis. The support is so widespread--multiple countries--and so vocal and noticeable that recently two prominent Israeli news outlets have either disowned them, via an Editorial, as Jews or written long article cursing them.
And yet in this thread we have non-Israelis more loyal to Israel then those courageous Jews!! What a shame!

It seems the majority, if not all, of the Palestinian resistance factions are active in this war of liberation. The resistance groups in the West Bank have been active in the last few weeks.

Entirely different motivations fueling these groups but they do converge and agree on that there should be no Israel.

In general, you are right but I don't think humanity has sunk that low. Why are countries, in defiance of a Superpower, cutting ties or openly bashing Israel over this conflict? Ireland, South Africa, Columbia... different ethnicities, different continents, and even different religions??

Those countries you mention mostly due so due to either ideological reasons since for most part they are ruled by leftist or either populist. It has nothing to do with them supporting Palestine for morality reasons..else why don't they support other movements the who have been fighting for independence and their own statehood the same way? Why not support the Kurds who have been fighting for their own statehood and being repressed for doing so for decades? Why not support the people of western Sahara who have been fighting for their own freedom and statehood against Morocco invane for decades now? Why not the people of Co go who have been going through far worse(over 6million deaths already a d millions more displaced) than Palestinian can ever do yet nobody in the international community even talks much about them lol Etc etc. There are many such cases globally. So it's not just about morality and consoderation of human lives here, they also have other reasons for doing so.

In the 'fog of war', West Bank Settlers are indeed killing Palestinians and taking over their houses and with often active support from the occupying IDF forces. There are numerous past examples of such land grab but this time, with the mood in Israel being so hostile, anything goes now.
And here is one important point to note: There is no real difference between Hamas/Gazans and the W. Bank Palestinians when it comes to overall goals. It's just that Hamas/Gazans have the geographic advantages of land continuity and a relatively porous border with Egypt and so the Gazans are able to fight. The West Bank is like Swiss Cheese--too divided, too controlled.
But the Israelis and their supporters tried hard to divide and rule--and that can be seen from the very early pages of this long thread. Oh you idiots! Gazans are fighting for Palestine othewise Gazans could really just live a fairly normal life and even the Israelis would have left them alone.
