Gaza-Israel Conflict | October 2023

Islamic Jihad: Regarding the decisions of the Arab-Islamic Summit: The wording of “condemnation,” “demand,” and “call” that filled the final statement suggests that the statement was issued by a body that is not related to the massacres taking place against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, and not by A meeting of 57 countries, through its statement, appeared as if it had nothing and was unable to do anything except appeal and demand.

Bahrian US base
Saudi Arabia US base
UAE US base
Morocco well no one gives a f..
So I assume Egypt, Turkey ,Syria probably are not happy with the statement ..
Egypt is nervous
Syria is paranoid
Turkey see an opportunity

Now,this is going to be hard to watch for most of you, because I know as soon as you see something released from the Israeli side you instantly discard it as propaganda.

Now,put this aside. Retain the fact but Israel does propaganda, but remember that Hamas isn't an honorable,good-hearted resistance group either.

Watch this and skip all the Netanyahu scenes, what he says is not the point. The point is the footage:

Disclaimer (because some people are stupid) This does not mean Israel has not killed thousands of Palestinian civilians by bombings and artillery. This is simply to show you, that Hamas is a selfish, radical islamist organisation that wants Palestine to be ruled by the Muslim Brotherhood.

I think more cities massive scale protests are needed everywhere. I am very impatient for the big protest that will be held tomorrow on the Parliament, InshaAllah pay Justin TURD a visit.
More important is dismantling the sickening Zion control over politicians who facilitate the barbarity.

Who do they consider innocent people if they indiscriminately kill women and children?

Isaac Galini, director of the Hebrew Channel 12, the occupation will gradually withdraw from Gaza, and the military operation will end within a short time. In the coming days, the army will gradually reduce the destructive bombing.

Perhaps, the useless OIC conference that did not produce any results is designed to give a face-saving way for the Israeli occupation force that is taking a beating in Gaza.

After so much death and destruction this war can no longer end...
Too many precious lives lost for the vindictive murderers sordid thirst for blood.
Paradigm has shifted, Sheikhdoms are no longer in vogue... Jordanian royalty nor Egyptian sisi!
The hole must be plugged... pretend play is over!

I have never seen Anyone so vengeful, degenerate and out for blood, ever! The way this curtain dropped, it has become a permanent burn in the eyes...

We are living the dark ages!

Gaza casualties: 'Most of the children in my family photo are dead'

Ahmed al-Naouq took this family selfie four years ago - most of the children in the photo are now dead

By Stephanie Hegarty , BBC World Service

Whole families have been wiped out in Israel's air strikes on the densely populated streets of Gaza, where many Palestinians live in multi-generational homes. Three Palestinians in the UK told the BBC that more than 20 of their relatives had been killed in one blow - and many were still stuck under the rubble.

It was just another lazy, sunny Friday afternoon four years ago when Ahmed al-Naouq snapped this selfie with his family. But he remembers it well, especially now.
Under the shade of olive trees by his father's house, his sisters and brothers got together with their children to eat, play and chat.

Taking a break from running around, the children were ready to eat when Ahmed captured them together. Now, most of them are dead, he says.

They were killed in an air strike which struck the family home on 22 October. In total, 21 people were killed including his father, three sisters, two brothers and 14 of their children.

More than 11,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli bombardment, according to Gaza's Hamas-run health ministry. The air strikes began after the 7 October attack by Hamas, in which Israel says about 1,200 people were killed and more than 200 taken hostage.

May be you should shut up...... And make some kaaba at your home .... U are confused shit.... Teri support aur uskay sahab ki aisi ki taisi ... Bhosri kay

Islam does not teach me to make kaaba in my home. Most of you confuse Islam with worshiping Arabs and idols. Too bad for you.

Artists stand with Palestine at IVS fundraiser, teach-in

Artists stand with Palestine at IVS fundraiser, teach-in

Enthusiasm, solidarity and confusion were channeled into one space as the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture (IVS) in Karachi held a fundraiser and teach-in to raise funds and better educate the public on events unfolding in Palestine.
‘Stand with Palestine: Coming Together for Peace and Justice’ saw 150 people attend the teach-in, poetry recitation and documentary screening Friday afternoon.
Artwork for sale was generously donated by students, faculty and alumni for a cause that many Pakistanis have rallied behind since the Israeli bombardment of Gaza began on October 7.

The four panelists facilitating the teach-in were journalist Zarrar Khuhro, comedian Shehzad Ghias, academic Sabahat Zehra and activist Laila AlQilim.
“We added the teach-in component because there’s a lot of outrage, emotions but not a full understanding of what the history is,” said Dr Faiza Mushtaq, dean and executive director of IVS.
Speaking to Images, AlQilim echoed a similar sentiment, encouraging the audience to take the initiative to educate themselves on the history of Palestine, which was explained by Zehra, an IVS faculty member.
AlQilim is a young Palestinian activist living in Pakistan with her family, who were forced to leave Palestine during the first and second Nakbas in 1948 and 1967 respectively.
“So many people know that what they’re doing is right, but they don’t know why. And the why is so important, because our ignorance is a weapon that’s used against us,” AlQilim said.

The panelists debunked myths and false narratives about Israel and Palestine, using their time as a brief history lesson for the audience stretching as far back as the 19th century.

Khuhro affirmed to the audience that “critical mass becomes action,” acknowledging the various protests, sit-ins and marches happening across the globe in solidarity with Palestinians. He wove a timeline for the audience as he explained how history is repeating itself with the genocide of the Palestinians, alluding to the Holocaust.

Criticism of the media and biased narratives was highlighted by Ghias, writer and host of the popular podcast The Pakistani Experience.

“‘Do you condemn the circumstances [of the Gazan people]’ is what the media should be asking instead,” Ghias said, referring to Western media’s common question to Palestinian talk-show guests: “Do you condemn Hamas?”

He spoke in depth of the legacy of colonialism and resistance, praising the people of Palestine for their fierce resistance against Israeli occupation. “You cannot defeat the will of five million people who have withstood a military siege for decades and still say ‘Palestine will be free,’” he said.

Ghias also acknowledged how many Pakistanis conflate their pro-Palestine sentiment with anti-Semitism, explaining that the latter does not help the Palestinian cause.

Much of Palestine’s history, explained by the panelists, is the lived experience of AlQilim and her family, who have lived in four different countries before settling in Pakistan.

“No one wants to leave their land, and if they do, they want to be able to go back,” she said, explaining how her grandparents left Palestine for Kuwait and lost the right to go back to their homeland.

Friday’s event hit close to home for Maham Khursheed, one of the fundraiser’s organisers and an assistant professor of architecture at IVS. Khursheed has friends whose families were pushed out of Palestine during the Nakba, much like AlQilim’s family was. It was through them that she learned of the tragic history of Palestine, acknowledging that events like these are a small step towards helping a much bigger cause.

The turnout was much better than the organisers had expected, she said, expressing gratitude for the generosity of the alumni, students and faculty in putting together the fundraiser.

Zeal and generosity are no strangers to the IVS community. As floods destroyed housing and land across the country in 2022, IVS students set out designing environmentally sensitive housing structures which could reduce the devastation of the floods, Khursheed explained, adding that Engro served as a financial catalyst in transforming the designs into tangible structures.

The artwork for sale will continue to be on display at IVS till all pieces are sold, she said. Prices for the artwork start at Rs500, with the highest priced piece worth Rs150,000.
