There's no correlations between the two. He's bringing up a 8 year war between two massive nations with massive populations and comparing it to the Israeli slaughter campaign in Gaza in the span of a month. Tiny Gaza with a population of 2 million people.
It's hard to understand Jewish mathematics. In Iran-Iraq war, an average of 70 Iranians were killed per day. Israel has killed 13,000 Palestinians in the concentration camp of Gaza. An average of 440 Palestinians per day. That's much worse than any war. It's a mass slaughter and genocide campaign.

Results: Fourteen articles out of 1751 primary results were selected to be included in the study. During the war (1980 - 1988), 188,015 to 217,489 Iranians were killed (about 70 people per day).
The war caused a lot of mortalities and morbidities in our country. Now, 24 years after the war, many physically, mentally, and chemically injured victims have remained. We suggest other studies about indirect impacts of the war on societies, families, friends, and affiliates of the victims.
