Israel clearly has the backing of the West for now. If you follow the news, Israel even rejected the ceasefire deal from Hamas. That indicates this war will continue for a long run. Arabs should be prepared for war-like situations in their neighborhood till next year.

I never said they are 'random'. I was trying to explain why Arab states are not joining the war. For them, Palestinians are 'others', in the sense that, they don't want to risk their countries interest. Support, help, sympathy - Yes; risking their own life and survival - No. That was the distinction I was making. Is there a better explanation for why they are sitting out? Reams have been written here by people perplexed by why the war hasn't widened after nearly a month. My answer is, for everybody other than Gazans and Israelis, it is somebody else's war.

I have no love affair with the wrongdoings of Israel and Zionists. I would have opposed a Zionist state in 1948. But today Israel is a reality, just like it is a reality that the historic Western Armenia is a part of Turkey, or just like Pakistan is a reality and no more a part of India, even if the British conspired against the majority of the population of India of that time and created Pakistan against their wish.

The situation of today is clear, there should exist no Muslim Palestinian State under the influence of Hamas, where non-Muslims have to live under fear and have no equal rights to preach their religion and convert people to their religion and to criticize Islam. Where LGBT members are thrown down from high buildings while they also don't have any rights to exist. Where ex-Muslims are lynched and killed brutally for their crime of leaving Islam. Why should we ever support such oppressive Islamic states? Why should we not criticize the double standards of Muslims where they are quick to demand equal rights to preach Islam and convert people to Islam in non-Muslim countries, but are not ready to give us the same human rights?

You want to talk about racism and phobia of Jews, then let us also talk about double standards and homophobia and Murtadphobia and Kafirophobia of Muslims.

Israel rejecting ceasefire 'deal' from Hamas is less worrisome than they may be not agreeing to a request for pause from U.S. (and others) to see if something besides open ended warfare has a chance.

It is not somebody else's war for Arabs. Familiarize yourself with history. Gaza was occupied by Egypt and West Bank by Jordan prior to Israel. Did you read the Amnesty report. Israel is the world's severest human rights violater, and you are equating it with America.

Turkey is not an oil producing state; the oil from Azerbaijan is only transmitted through their Ceyhan port. So if this oil flow were to be stopped, it should be tried on the Azerbaijani side and not on the Turkiye side.

Besides, based on the info published in the below link, Israel also receives its oil from other sources such as Gabon, Nigeria, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Egypt, and Kurdistan - Northern Iraq even though it is suspended now.

There is also an oil deal between Israel and UAE through the Eilat port. The attacks from Houthis in Yemen against Eilat should be understood in this context. They want to hurt two birds with 1 stone.

Bottom line, the campaign to stop oil to the apartheid state should be broadly looked at instead of just focusing on Turkiye - which is NOT even an oil producing state.
