Not just Sunni. Anyone who claims to be Muslim has to respect the wives of the prophet Rasulallah (ﷺ) , the companions of Rasulallah (ﷺ) and the family of Rasulallah (ﷺ).
Maybe such news are planted to give USA a reason to jump in this war, USA already hinted if any other party joins this attack USA will intervene to save Israel, so now they are just cooking up lies as they did with Iraq & WMD's to justify USA troops on ground and to fool their already fooled public.

Hamas is mirroring Israeli doctrine in many ways; expeditionary war deep in opposition territory to delay the adversary from attacking your territory by land, and highly coordinated attacks with overwhelming firepower. Outside of Gaza, Hamas is unpredictable and has freedom of movement as they can spread over a large area. Inside they are on the defensive. It’s an interesting (but ultimately sad) adaptation in this Palestinian-Israeli conflict. If the world powers (as they had promised) could have only forced an amicable peace after Oslo or when Olmert was the Israeli PM, then this could have all been avoided.
