Nearness to events (in time) colors our judgement. This is a type of civil war, people in very close quarters fighting among themselves to decide who should be extinguished and who will survive, as a stable two state solution seems infeasible after 75 years. If you watch Ken Burns' Civil War documentary, you see equally horrific violence between two irreconcilable peoples. In fact, I could not watch quite a bit of footage, even though the events occurred 150 years back. It is a testament to Burns' genius that he makes the events feel so contemporary.

Israel calls them worse than animals. Worse than prison like condition is what they took as happy normality. Four countries blocked the proposals at the OIC meeting, yesterday:Saudi Arabia , Jordan , UAE , Egypt
The other 11 members supported them.

The proposals were:1. Oil embargo2. Prevent the use of US military bases in Arab countries to supply Israel with weapons3. Freeze Arab diplomatic, economic, security and military relations with Israel.

Palestinians have shown they can kill 1,500 Israelis. this level of destruction will not get you a country. Realistically you need x50.

Once the cost of oppression is high enough, you get freedom. This is sadly the world we live in. This has been the case with basically all county from greece to Norway to america to Ireland.

These are double standards by Muslims. They are unable to see what their own Muslim ancestors did with non-Muslims.

Turkey killed millions in the Armenian Genocide in 1915 and made the whole area of Western Armenia a part of Turkey. Again Muslims are unable to see their double standards where they blame only Jews for being invaders but utter no words against the same things that their Muslim brothers did on a much bigger level.

Azerbaijan also invaded the Armenian land of Nagorno-Karabakh with the help of colonial Iran and then colonial Russia.
Armenian people were living in Nagorno Karabakh for thousands of years till the Azery Government started to settle Azeries there to change the demographics.

Are Muslims able to see their double standards when they blame Israelis for invading Palestine but don't blame Azeris for the same thing?

We have no love affair with the wrongdoings of Israel and Zionists. We would have opposed a Zionist state in 1948. But today Israel is a reality, just like it is a reality that the historic Western Armenia is a part of Turkey, or just like Pakistan is a reality and no more a part of India, even if the British conspired against the majority of the population of India of that time and created Pakistan against their wish.

Hamas are religious fanatics. They will never accept Israel. Even if any of their leaders try to accept Israel, he will be killed by Hamas.

Israel is also suffering from the same curse of religion. The Jewish religious fanatics will also never give up the idea of God-Gifted and God-Promised land, and they will try their best to expel all Palestinians.


Only Secularism can bring peace to the region.

Turning to radicals with a selfish agenda will not give them their own State,it will give them their destruction. At this point,they have too little to negotiate a good deal for a Palestinian independent State. They lost the chance decades ago. There must be a moderate government in Israel as well in order for Palestinians to have more chances to negotiate a good deal. And right now,to save what remains of their former homeland...
