West Bank is occupied, it is not " their land."

From Palestinians point of view, there is no other way for them to get back their lands. Negotiations do not seem to work at all. Israel will not give back anything it has taken and keep taking more and more. More settlement buildings are being built.
Except that's the central lie of the Arab narrative. The Jews started re-settling "Palestine" in the late nineteenth century. They didn't steal anybody's land; they couldn't. The Jews purchased land from Arab landlords at extortionate prices. At independence many Arabs fled: most at the urging of their own leaders, a small minority were expelled. Then the Arab leaders, out of spite, hatred, and jealousy, expelled over 700,000 Jews into Israel. The Jews almost starved; the U.N. only provided food to the Arabs. There was only one solution: this un-forseen flood of Jewish refugees had to settle and grow food where they could, often in abandoned Arab villages and fields.

Later, when the situation stabilized, Israel issued a law-of-return for the Arabs: they could come back if they swore loyalty to Israel and forswore violence. About a quarter of those who fled did so link. Arabs continue to enjoy property rights in Israel today, though both Hamas and the P.A. threaten death if they attempt to sell their lands to Jews - just as they threaten extra-judicial execution to any Arab who dares to teach the truth. Arabs aren't all mean and cruel; that's why the P.A. and Hamas try to prevent teaching Arabs about the Holocaust and persecution of Jews in Europe and Muslim lands, so their subjects won't have any sympathy for the Israelis - so the Arabs will be blinded from the conclusion that not just Israel's actions are just, but so is its very existence - more so than the dictatorships and monarchies Arabs are compelled to endure.

Under the British Mandate its supposed to be part of the Jewish Homeland. Jews can settle where they like as long as they respect Arab property rights. There's a lot of vacant state land in Palestine, that's where the Jews go.

so you deny that settlements are illegal:rolleyes:

You are saying that the Arabs even sold Jerusalem to Jews? How about the UN resolutions that divide the lands into two countries? Are Israel now within the boundary UN has prescribed?

What you say indeed has truth in it. Jews indeed purchased land there. Arabs indeed wanted to expel all Jews out. That is why the later war started but they failed.

Well, Jews did not stay in the boundary UN has prescribed and it took the whole land after several wars including the whole Jerusalem. UN has never given that much to Israel though. Otherwise, there won't be any more UN resolutions regarding such issues.

International Court of Justice,Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch ,Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination have characterized the settlements as violation of international law..but if solomon2 and other zionists say that they are legal, then who are these international bodies say the opposite:what:

You are saying that the Arabs even sold Jerusalem to Jews?
Much of Jerusalem was owned by Jews before 1948.

How about the UN resolutions that divide the lands into two countries?
The Arabs rejected UN 181 so it never superseded the Mandate. Israel was recognized as a state by the U.N. without regard to its boundaries.

Are Israel now within the boundary UN has prescribed?
The region specified by the Mandate included not just Israel but all of Jordan, Gaza, and the West Bank but parts of what is now Egypt and Syria, I think.

Well, Jews did not stay in the boundary UN has prescribed and it took the whole land -
The Jews did not take ALL of Palestine and the U.N. recognized in 1967 Israel's right not to return all territory it conquered from the Arabs.

West Bank is occupied, it is not " their land."

Jewish exodus from Arab and Muslim lands - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Jewish exodus from Arab and Muslim lands refers to the 20th century mass departure of Jews, primarily of Sephardi and Mizrahi background, from Arab and Muslim countries. Though Jewish migration from Middle Eastern and North African communities began in the late 19th century, it had not become significant until the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Between 1948 and the early 1970s, between 800,000-1,000,000 Jews left, fled, or were expelled from their homes in Arab countries; 260,000 of them reached Israel between 1948–1951; and 600,000 by 1972. Lebanon was the only Arab country to see an increase in its Jewish population after 1948, which was due to an influx of refugees from other Arab countries. However, by the 1970s the Jewish community of Lebanon too dwindled due to hostilities of the Lebanese Civil War.

The reasons for the exodus were many, and include persecution, antisemitism, political instability, and the desire to fulfill Zionist yearnings. A significant proportion of Jews left due to political insecurity and the rise of Arab nationalism. Many were required to sell, abandon, or smuggle their property out of the countries they were fleeing. By 2002 these Jews and their descendants constituted about 40% of Israel's population.

Additional 200,000 Jews from non-Arab Muslim countries left their homes due to increasing insecurity and growing hostility since 1948 until today. Many Iranian and Kurdish Jews fled and abandoned their property in fear, that they would remain hostages of hostile regimes.

Nope under international law west bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza are occupied Palestinian territory
It doesn't really matter what religion you believe in
international law is equal for all
Bangladesh wants peace to prevail in the middle east
Bangladesh will befriend Israel if independent Palestinian state is created on 1967 borders
Many Bangladeshis would like to make holy pilgrimage to Al Quds Al-Haram al-Sharif

1. How much of Jerusalem was owned by Jews before 1948 exactly???

2. So UN set up Israel without boundary? Then what it really means by creating two states there without even setting up boundaries???

3. The UN resolution started in the 40s, not in 1967.

Anyway, if both sides are so hardcore, well go ahead for such brutality and retaliation cycles.

You can look at it anyway you want. Zoom in/out, side ways, from left or right, or even with Hubble Telescope, it still does not change the fact that West Bank is occupied by Israel.
