What's new

From May 1st, 59 nationals can enter China's Hainan for travel without visas for 30 days

.
Lots of Russians in Hainan, lots of.
Yah? There seems to be more Russians visiting China now, I was surprised to see them visiting some small towns in NE China and some also work in China. Hainan can be a good alternative to other traditional vacation spots for them. I saw quite a bit of Russians in Cuba as well, there are regular tourists and some that look like military personnel (based on their clothing) going for R&R.

Thanks for sharing the information
You are welcome. I made the map myself.

So I will be allowed free entry to Hinan on my British passport but?
I can travel to many other nearer countries on same terms, so why should I chose China ?
On the other hand on my Pakistani passport I would like to go visit China as it's right next doors. But getting a Chinese visa on Pakistani passport is as difficult as getting east European visas.
So thanks but no thanks.
China used to be more restrictive on its visa policy and still is more restricted compared to developed nations. This is a relative improvement. There are already plenty of people visiting or wanting to visit China for a variety of reasons, it is mainly catered towards this crowd. China isn't yet at the stage where it is marketing heavily externally for attracting visitors. There are early adopters and late adopters. Action will coincide with needs.

This is more of a test to work out a suitable visa system before broader implementation and nothing is final. China wants to implement a visa policy that is helpful for its broader development, thus it is taking things step by step.
These seems fascinating to someone from the tropics.
This is also true in China where in the very south, snow and cold weather is a rare occurrence. Visiting the north during the winter can be a fascinating experience. Have you experienced "winter"?

Most of my life I had been living in northern latitudes, with regular visits to the south. The big difference I see is the lack of real seasonal changes in the tropical regions, it just gets a bit cooler.

I have friends from Singapore living in Canada and they seem to get used to the climate fairly quickly.

Buddy don’t kid us here. Either you are a false flag person of low knowledge or a very dense person of Chinese origin.
Let me update you: as of now the Chinese tourists are world renowned for their horrible behavior, so much so that the CCP has a black list of those who can’t travel abroad to prevent further embarrassment. From the Europeans to East Asians everybody despises them.

I know you want to hijack every thread with India trolling- but at least use some logic you dodo.
Indians are too poor to travel around.
Indian Rapists are also very poor so they can only rape females in india only!
That is the reason why outside world know little about indian Rapists!

I've been to Melbourne during winter, but it's still above 0 degrees and no snow. So I don't think I've experienced a true winter yet.

the north during the winter can be a fascinating experience.

Visiting Dongbei during extreme winter is in one of my bucket list! I hope I can survive it.
