Most of the southern half of Manhattan was without power after floodwaters poured into subway and car tunnels, AFP reports.
At least four people were also killed.

****. My uncle lives in Bridgeport CT. I got off the phone with him about 20 minutes ago. He said there was no rain, but heavy winds and that their power has been off since six in the evening. I thank Allah swt that they have gas stove rather than electric because they can at least cook food.
