Yes but only small stuff like Hmds,etc. The rest will be chinese which is way better and low cost

Assembly line is possible but french are not very keen to share the technology with any country including india.

So buying an avionics system on which our front line or backbone fighter is based on without assembly line and TOT would be nothing more than foolish move because as we say for america "unreliable partner" same goes to french as well !!!!

Yes may be that's why pakistan is not showing much interest in west's equipment and pakistan is solely relying on the chinese who have no problem with tot and chinese are also showing the world that they are catching up with the west in terms of technology

May be bcz their stuff is still better than the chinese ones, but the chinese are catching up real fast but still they might be more than half a decade behind (that's my assumption). I think there is not much difference between chinese and turkish equipment otherwise pakistan would have surely gone towards turkey.

On a serious note, the Rafale deal has nothing to do with avionics. Pakistan continues to discuss with france, we might see some progress when PAF visits the Paris airshow in June.

Why Pakistan will discuss for a deal with France when they can get better systems from China and other sources?? French offered stuff is outdated in today's tech world.

I don't believe its outdated although not the top of the line stuff but still good enough and as we were discussing that chinese are as always offering systems with TOT but they are not matured enough as french systems are !!

Outdated? French goodies are expensive though but not outdated.......JF-17 is not going to engage F-22 so french avionics and EWS are enough for us

But now PAF should forget this because Rafale deal is much bigger than JF-17 avionics peanut deal.
