CPC being righteous attracts these people :enjoy:

A major solution to the negative growth of the Chinese population is to turn China into a small-scale immigration country: absorbs 0.5 millions to 2.5 millions immigrants each year from overseas.

I said "small scale" because China has a very large population of 1.4 billion and the proportion of several million foreigners each year is very small.

All foreigners who have obtained a bachelor's degree or above can directly immigrate to China. As long as they can find a job within one year, they can obtain permanent Chinese nationality and all rights attached to it.

It looks like you have to be married to a Chinese to become a Chinese national. Is it your official policy??

This is unnecessary, short sighted, and self destructive. The low intensity racial warfare across Western nations with even moderate levels of immigration are a huge warning signal that the CPC should pay heed to. The soft genocide of Chinese populations in Western countries is an epidemic you would do well to study. Furthermore, owing the vast pool of extremely talented, high iq, and talented people, only a fool would take in outsiders without any highly significant gains. Exceptions can be made for the rare talent who has extremely potential or existing high value.

There is no need for more labor as automation will take care of an increasingly large percentage of both mundane and complicated tasks. Why take in foreigners who pose a potential threat to social harmony, security, and the national treasury? Terrible idea.
China is no western country, come to China means accepting THE CPC absolute leadership or go to jail!!! In China, no race can threaten the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party unless the race wants to die.

China for the moment does not welcome foreigner immigrants whatsoever!

China has the world’s largest population and we do not need immigrants. I’m talking about a period of 20 to 25 years later when China faces severe ageing and labor shortages!

How about investing in your country to become a citizen like in US and Canada???

No way!
Since 1949 up to today, Only a few thousand foreigners have joined China nationality. Considering China 1.4 billions people, that means 0 !

As I said, Chinese immigration policy does not encourage foreigners to immigrate to China. At present, the Chinese nationality system is still very very strict. However, China’s permanent residence permit policy is being relaxed. High-level talents and large amount investors are already able to obtain permanent China permanent residence permit .

You are ignorant. They may not allow them to settle but they treat foreigners very well for, what are mostly, economic refugees. Even with the relatively their small numbers, they have created a great deal of social chaos and anger stemming from the undue privileges that China affords these low skill, almost always racist, and sex predator foreigners. The CPC stupidly glorifies them across their media and censors Chinese backlash. This cannot last. Also, your projection into the future is laughable. At that time, many parts of the logistics chain including inspections, quality control, assembly, agriculture, maintenance, law enforcement, law, service, accountancy, medicine, will be automated to a great degree, such that far less people will be required to keep Chinese civilization humming along.
All foreigners who have obtained a bachelor's degree or above can directly immigrate to China. As long as they can find a job within one yea..........

Do not underestimate the power of the Chinese Communist Party. If there is a force that is the same as that of the Communist Party of China, it is the reproductive ability of cancer cells.

That is an inferior trade off. The cut off should be vastly higher to compensate for the disruption foreigners tend to cause. There is no shortage of genius within China. The bottom line is that China should view immigration as a talent attraction tool. It is not charity. It is not a way to appease business interests. It is to build a more powerful and richer civilization. The deal is simple. Foreigners come to live in a great place. China gets exceptional talent, technology, connections, etc. Everyone wins.
The people’s yearning for a better life is the goal of the Chinese Communist Party. The Chinese are not interested in leading the world.

The per capita income of the Chinese people has not yet reached the level where gay rights can be discussed, the Chinese are not interested in any better civilization. The purpose of the Chinese is to make money and bring better life standard for themselves and their families.

If you ask Africans (the annual income is only $500 to 1000) to create and cherish democracy, you are either an idealist or a western hypocritical politician.

I'm sure you mean well but I don't think China can absorb 5 million immigrants a year, even in the future. In 20 years that is 100 million immigrants plus their children, not a "very small" group. China is still trying to create modern facilities for the rest of its population. Even if the country only gets highly skilled immigrants, 5 million a year is ridiculously high as they would almost all go to China's mega-cities. These cities have already set limits on its population growth. Second tier cities would implement similar policies as they get bigger and more developed.

Currently despite lower birth rates, cities in China still grows and will continue to grow for many decades due to the large rural and small city population.

China is trying to stabilise its long term population around 1 billion people. Massive and permanent immigration influx (not temporary workers) won't help. Even the massive water projects its currently building and will build isn't designed to support the full development of such a large growing population.

I support the idea of a meritocracy to push China's national development but such numbers will strain a nation with already high numbers. Having a bachelor's degree isn't entirely indicative of the type of intelligence and ability China would need for development and wouldn't necessarily mean they contribute/fit well in the society.

The per capita income of the Chinese people has not yet reached the level where gay rights can be discussed, the Chinese are not interested in any better civilization. The purpose of the Chinese is to make bricks and bricks better for themselves and their families.

If you ask Africans (the annual income is only $500) to create democracy, you are either an idealist or a hypocritical politician.
Yah, its a noble goal but flooding China with 5 million migrants a year won't create the desired outcome for anyone.

Since China isn't anywhere near a developed nation's income levels, it should focus on developing itself internally to workout a good economic/social system for a developed country. Maybe after it can share its experiences with the under developed nations.

It is not about desiring to lead the world or not, if a nation has the ability then it will, if not then it won't. It's an organic process.

Sure, the CCP can be strict if these people act against society but if there are tens or hundreds of millions of migrants in China (projected from your proposal) and not used to Chinese societal norms do you think they would comply? Sure, the government can apply force but these migrants would call for international support, even if they are in the wrong. It is naive to think what applies to current Chinese society applies for all societies in all circumstances.

Adam, are you part of the CCP?

why everyone need to pick the extreme way to start?!!
Better make it 10 millions a year, so i would be more ridiculous!

Because the proposal sounds extreme on the surface, almost like it is not thought out properly (almost like you don't care about China), thus it is reasonable to expect others to respond with criticism. The criticism so far had been logical and realistic based on precedent. At millions per year, the types of immigrants you will be getting aren't all like the people in the pictures you have shown and the times have changed. Those people came to support China when it was dirt poor, now most people just go for economic opportunities without consideration for the host nation, different global environment so you should learn to play with different rules. Some amount of people receiving PR would do good for China imo but a bachelor's degree means so little nowadays. Where are you going to find 2-5 million immigrants to China a year? where do you think the likely source would be? Since a proposal was made, I hope you can convince more people to support it.

Adam I wish for you to travel and see the world more, talk more people and try to understand people's concerns from different strata of society. It might not directly affect you or me but think about society holistically and longer time horizon.

I'm sure you are proud and good for you Adam. Are there more CCP members with similar views as you? or are your ideas original?

No. it is very difficult if not impossible to get chinese citizenship. many Viet women are married to Chinese men but remain Vietnamese for many years if not forever. it is 100 times easier to become Vietnamese or German than becoming Chinese.

You must be China´s national heros or some sorts of to get citizenship. That is not a joke.
