It is ...but how remittance going just like that to India . legalisation is necessary for our economy
If you afford MFN to India and legalise the trade (countering the smuggling and re-routing though UAE) the hawala trade will drop quite drastically.
There is something like 10 billion dollars of trade going on between India and Pak....mostly Pak importing....and only 2.5 billion of it is official taxable direct trade. So you can imagine how much is black money based unofficial trade (again mostly imports Pakistan smuggles in from India and then has to remit the money through hawala and other means).
So trade legalisation will cut a lot of the hawala....but it needs Pakistan to admit it has a problem and stop enforcing bans/restrictions on trade that actually punish its own consumers since people simply go underground and that is not even taxable (and thus Pakistan loses out on official revenue).
