Why it is shameful, it makes intuitive sense since Muslim in India mostly fall in lower income class than their Pakistani relatives. You don't expect much from the poor and you shouldn't be expecting 80% non-muslim population to be sending anything because of their lack of link with Pakistan.

Actually an average Pakistani person is getting $10 of remittances from India whereas an average Indian person is getting less than $4 from Pakistan.

Most of the Pakistanis suffer from acute shortage of patriotism and identity crisis. Most of the people with different flags fit in this class who are aliens in their new home and keep looking back the place they initially left willingly. These people are more interested in declaring the treachery and patriotism because doing so they believe that it bridges their own identity crisis.
Do believe people from Pakistan are sending money to help the people in India. 99.99% of the money is for business.
