What's new

firing in Islamabad court, 11 killed, terrorists blow themselves with suicide vest

I don't think we have the solution to this mess.

Maybe India can help us?

It is still not so bad that Pakistan would need the help of its main enemy - India. All that the Pakistani government and the PA need is the will to eliminate the terrorists, but that will will cost the PA its strategic depth in Kashmir and Afghanistan.

The Drone strikes kept enormous amount of pressure on the TTP, but the people followed Imran Khan in portraying the TTP as some misguided innocent youth. To eliminate this problem, PA will need to carry out operations on war level, but that will cause innumerable civilian lives, and this time they will not blame the USA, rather PA will become the new 'Satan' in their eyes.

Unless they are eliminated on urgent basis, wait until the US leaves Afghanistan and (Afghan) Taliban gains ground. That will be the biggest existential threat for Pakistan, after all, their (Afghan Taliban) sympathies will lie more with the TTP than with the PA. And after Afghan Taliban comes in power, Durand Line will become exceedingly porous for further infiltrations.

as far as i know hafiz gul bahudar group is fighting in Afghanistan they have a peace deal with Pak govt.. are they calling themself taliban shura??
My friend, we don't know, nobody knows. I have heard this Taliban Shura for the first time. We are chasing shadows, you see. Who is who? Who is in control? Is there any central command? If these people consider Mullah Omar as their leader, why should we not talk to him directly? But I tell you, nothing will come out from that too. These are terrorist groups, who have not much in common except that they are terrorists. Looking for easy money, power, and terror. It is not about Shariah, which is just a screen, it is all about power, and money.

There is NO other solution to this problem other than indiscriminate elimination. Forget about good or bad. None of them are good for Pakistan. Just imagine what will happen if God-forbidden they took control of Kabul? Do you think they will stop there? Do you think they will accept Durand's line as an international border? Do you think they will agree to take back 30 million Afghans who have destroyed Pakistani way of life? Do you think they will prevent illegal border crossing? What good there is in it for us?

This attack is similar to terrorist attacks on India. The attacker announces ceasefire and says that they are interested in talks, but keeps attacking and then denies any involvement in attacks. The chickens are definitely coming home to roost.

I do not think that Afghan Intelligence agency is capable enough to give effect to this kind of Bombing. It must be Pakistan based terrorist groups.

indeed Pakistan based terrorists executed it but many hands are involved from outside too,

There is always an outside hand.. woh kya kehte hain "Ghair Mulki Taqtain".
Now who would benefit from killing Judges in Islamabad Court...

Indeed there is always foreign involvement in any international conflict that aids the local terrorists/insurgents. Its not just limited to this region. Its a worldwide phenomenon.

as far as killing judges or any Pakistani, indeed the terrorists get benefit by creating chaos, fear, panic , law and order

Its interesting how this "Foreign Involvement" is planted in media so quickly... even before the investigators are on the crime scene.

Sure, how many inquiries have been done before? Is this not the fact that whenever military banged their asses, peace restored? Do we need any more proof than this? And which TTP? Is TTP a single organization or a loose bunch of terrorist groups who act independently? Are we not going back to the old "bad versus good taliban" bulshit theory? See below:

Now with whom should we negotiate? Do we really know with whom we are currently talking to? or if they are relevant at all?

It is plain stupid to negotiate ceasefire with a faceless enemy. It is not like talking with another country, where you have guarantors who ensure a ceasefire. God knows what we are doing, and probably he is also confused.

Do we not know the history of these Afghans? Are they not the same people who have even broken up the promises made in Mekkah, in front of the Kaaba. Will we ever learn?
Which promises infront of kaaba? About what?
