Handover TTP APS killersMod Edit: Quoting propaganda tweet.
Govt will give its position (on fencing b/w Afg & Pak) when its formed. However our people are concerned & don’t agree with it. Fencing has divided our nations & families on both sides. We want to have an atmosphere that doesn’t require fencing,”

So far the Taliban have said to Pakistan: a) we will do nothing about TTP b) we do not respect the Durand line.
With “friends” like these...
Not going to happen, the fence and security arrangements are non negotiable, and Afghanistan has no ability to change that decision.
The problem is if it ever happens... Afghans will continue hating us and regard this part or United Pakistan as Punjabistan and will continue bad mouthing Pakistan. There is hardly anything to offer by Afghanistan... We have hosted their refugees, we give them free access to the sea, we handle their trade, we have helped them financially, we fought their war of independence against Soviets etc... In return all they do is bad mouth and talk about Durand line...They want open borders, not actually claim our territory.
Bro is the translation correct of what he actually said?
Zabehulah conversation has been shared before.
There is a lot of difference between 1st and 2nd tweet.
A wild thought:
A landmass almost 3/4 the size of Pakistan with 4 crore population. A United country seems not a bad proposition if one can manage the crime, terrorism (PTM, ISKP, TTP) drugs etc. Along with a host of administrative problems like governance structure, constitution framework. Something to unite us all maybe the origin of Islam in South Asia.
If we get past the obstacles we will emerge as a very powerful country at a geographic location with huge geostrategic significance.

No they will be second largest ethnic group in that scenario. Only about 40% of Afghanistan is Pashtun if my memory is correct..Would the Pashtun be a majority in a united Af-Pakistan?
So the Pashtun heartland is in Pakistan and they are a minority in their own country? No they will be second largest ethnic group in that scenario. Only about 40% of Afghanistan is Pashtun if my memory is correct..

Because they believe KPK was part of Durrani empire.... And Peshawar was their winter capital... But the point is at one time even Quetta, Lahore and Delhi were part of Durrani empire .. and throughout history the map have been changing constantly so framing yourself in certain era is not right.. its like Indians talking about Akhund bharat thousands of years after.. The fact is... Most of KPK voted to be part of Pakistan before the independence so thats all should matterWhy can't they just accept the border? That would be easiest and best solution
