"Fencing has divided our nations & families on both sides. We want to have an atmosphere that doesn’t require fencing"- Taliban

.
.
So far the Taliban have said to Pakistan: a) we will do nothing about TTP b) we do not respect the Durand line.

With “friends” like these...

Question is, when is India going to do its bit and take in Afghan brothers and sisters?
Not going to happen, the fence and security arrangements are non negotiable, and Afghanistan has no ability to change that decision.

Of course the fence isn't going away. Indian sponsored TTP terrorists must be eliminated.

They want open borders, not actually claim our territory.
Bro is the translation correct of what he actually said?

Zabehulah conversation has been shared before.

There is a lot of difference between 1st and 2nd tweet.

A wild thought:

A landmass almost 3/4 the size of Pakistan with 4 crore population. A United country seems not a bad proposition if one can manage the crime, terrorism (PTM, ISKP, TTP) drugs etc. Along with a host of administrative problems like governance structure, constitution framework. Something to unite us all maybe the origin of Islam in South Asia.

If we get past the obstacles we will emerge as a very powerful country at a geographic location with huge geostrategic significance.
The problem is if it ever happens... Afghans will continue hating us and regard this part or United Pakistan as Punjabistan and will continue bad mouthing Pakistan. There is hardly anything to offer by Afghanistan... We have hosted their refugees, we give them free access to the sea, we handle their trade, we have helped them financially, we fought their war of independence against Soviets etc... In return all they do is bad mouth and talk about Durand line...

.
Would the Pashtun be a majority in a united Af-Pakistan?

Why can't they just accept the border? That would be easiest and best solution

No they will be second largest ethnic group in that scenario. Only about 40% of Afghanistan is Pashtun if my memory is correct..

So the Pashtun heartland is in Pakistan and they are a minority in their own country?

The ex-government shouldn't have carried hostile activities towards Pakistan and there would have been no support from us but we had to choose the lesser evil.

Because they believe KPK was part of Durrani empire.... And Peshawar was their winter capital... But the point is at one time even Quetta, Lahore and Delhi were part of Durrani empire .. and throughout history the map have been changing constantly so framing yourself in certain era is not right.. its like Indians talking about Akhund bharat thousands of years after.. The fact is... Most of KPK voted to be part of Pakistan before the independence so thats all should matter

.
So this border bs all over again...
Someone inform him that we are not Americans and if the Taliban can lay 1000s for their homeland.... In the name of Allah who has made us of dirt we will fight for every speck of this dirt.... Let that be crystal clear to them CRYSTAL.

The fence should stay in place and be fortified more than it is. Why should they tell us how to control our borders? In the modern world you can't just stroll across borders and claim land. How is their stance any different to the Karzai/Ghani govts f this is what they beleive?

.
If hypothetically Afghanistan merged Pakistan, would it be one province or 3-4 smaller provinces as we saw when East Germany was absorbed into West Germany?

Sir you are not completely taking into account the benefits. A 1.7m sq km nuclear armed state at one of the most significant geostrategic location in Asia. Both from defense and economic point of view.

South India hates North Indians also.

This will address the root cause of their hate. Serious obstacles are there, I do not disagree. But if both countries show the same sentiment it is not as impossible as it seems.

Anyways they are not claiming our territory, they want free movement across the border both 2 and fro.

Sir can you combine the thread with the already existing one. I think their is one, as I remember seeing this interview clip before on the forum albeit under a much less radical and misleading title.

Do they have same views regarding border with Iran , Tajikistan and Uzbekistan ? Or is it just Pakistan...because I would have favourable opinion that they are talking in view of Islamic brotherhood with no border but this view of there only for Pakistan is just being racist ...to claim of some old empire ....they are better then previous regime but this hyper nationalism should be replied by Pakistan
