u say if someone leaves islam he should be killed.
Why?
Because we never agreed to believe in God and worship him when we were given life.
As far as I know everyone cries when he comes to the world.
We are here without our will. God cannot impose on us obligations that we never agreed to.
This is like I drag you and force you into my house without your consent while you are crying, then demand gratitude and payment from you for staying in my home and torture you if you fail to pay.
This is not justice.

Thats exactly What I am Pointing out... Where in the constitution of India is it Written that India is a Religious Country??? If the country is Entitled to Follow some other religion there is a Point in you calling Pagans, But we On the other hand have no such Restrictions anyway of what they follow, Every single citizen of My country shares the Constitutional Rights...

There is a lot of misinformation and lack of knowledge of what constitutes apostasy in Islam.

There are varying degrees that are applicable and according to those, a punishment is required. The punishable apostasy that is referred to in the Quran is one whereby a plain and clear repudiation of Islam by a professing Muslim occurs. This apostasy which is aggravated by rebellion, treason or grave disorderliness is punishable in Islam becuase it is just like treason, rebellion or presenting a grave threat to a functioning state. One which is also met with harsh punishment for e.g. GoP took harsh action against TTP who tried to pose a threat to the state of Pakistan.

Simple apostasy (leaving Islam), is not punishable in any manner in this life, you are free to leave Islam and there is no punishment for it.

So the apostasy that is punishable is one whereby the apostate poses threat to the state in doing so. Islam being way of life and a set of rules for life itself.

But you will find that the interpretation differs from sect to sect and some even call for punishment of simple apostasy.

The problem exists in lack of knowledge not religion itself.

Taken into consideration ^^^ what you say jana then why people are getting butchered on the name of Islam ..i mean why they can not change their religion freely , why they are in utter constant fear ,why they are seeking refugee status ? there is absolutely no controversy in any Islamic school of thoughts about the punishment for apostasy in Islam.

There are clear verses in Quarn and ahadiths that demands apostates to be killed.
