What's new

FAIL - Indians put wreckage of their own aircraft stated as PAF F-6....

To PDF management

Can you tell me please why I am attracting so many short sighted short attention spanned trolls here from both side of border. It has become a trend these days.

Just look at @Umair Nawaz comment up there. What have I done to deserve this? In fact he is the third person in this very thread

Thank you
because my dear F7s which r chinese copies of mig21s came in paf in 80s, which r yet to see an air to air engagement hence they never been downed, ether in indian territory or here. The wreckage is claimed to be of F6 a/c which is a chinese copy of mig19 fighters which themselves had a double engine!!!!!!!

Anyways i have edited it. @member.exe

Did you bother to read my comment and see who I was replying to and which aircraft I called the F7, in your haste to post?

Ahh.... honestly I am tired of having to defend myself in these situations

Do you think there can be any explanation to what is evident? It is not new....

The other day they had painted a Sherman in Indian colors and placed it with the barrel down, something meant to be done for enemy tanks..

Dumb critters that is all one can say.

also regarding the paint, that job is usually done by contract through MES the military engineering services and that is a moot point.

But indeed hilarious to note that own tail number with what is apparently own aircraft!!!

There is no doubt that the PAF had the upper edge in 1965. One should not and can not argue to that fact.

However, one also needs to understand that the higher figures for IAF losses in 1965 also, was due to the propensity to conduct day time raids due to limited platforms for night flying and frankly, poorly trained pilots in comparison to PAF, which had the advantage of multi-national exposure and also did commendable job in various theatres of war on behalf of the Arab League and a small example of Canberra bombers with PAF, which had all weather capability by upgradation in 1963 itself.

Anyways this is indeed funny, and frankly, am not surprised. Incompetence is rampant. India managed to win wars only thanks to greater incompetence of Pakistan and not due to own brilliance.

@Waqkz I hope this satisfies your query, I have explained to the best of my knowledge (without cringing at the gross stupidity and ignorance at the same time)
dude common this is yr own mig 21 aircraft as prove by serial number patterns. There r no alphabets on serial numbers of our aircrafts be it of that day and today. While yr mig21s still fly with same serial number patter starting with C alphabet. And according to designation this is a F6 fighter which was supposedly downed in 1971 NOT 1965. U can go and check it at the gate of yr palm airforce station dehli where this lies.

RegardingShermans both sides operated them in 1965 war and i guess in 1971 too.

Anyways got some info, this is displayed at Jodhpur AFS and was gifted to IAF by District Collector office in 1975.

@Oscar it's not an MiG-21FL but an MiG-21MF.All MiG-21FL serials end at late 1200's

Then it is the Type- 96?
I know that the Type-77 had two variants.

It's a tailsectipn of MiG-21MF outside Jodhpur AFS.
Gifted by District Collector Mr. R.K. Gangwar to base CO
So did the district collector paint it or the Base CO. I would hope that the Base CO would not be so dishonest.

What?This my first account?
Considering that you registered via a proxy server; I am not sure we can be sure but that is irrelevant for now.

.
And thats how you proved its not a Pakistan Plane? Do you have any website or database to backup the tail no? Otherwise don't post.
brother let me explain you . PAF use serial number of aircraft as per manufacturing delivery number first 2 digits for year another 3 digits for aircraft number . PAF did not use alphabets on serial numbers
