Up to 3000 km range should be good enough.. this we already have from China.. the main arsenal should be the short and medium range.. and the capacity to make own long range.. the whole spectrum of BM and some potent cruise missiles also..What you think about range limits of missiles? How much range we needed?
Three years is just the beginning..The article talk about intelligence known by the white house for the last few years and not shared with Democrats in Congress..Nope It has already started about 3 years ago.
By joint projects with Ukraine we can reach long range missiles I hope Saudi Ukrainian projects will be success but I'm worry about this new unknown presidentUp to 3000 km range should be good enough.. this we already have from China.. the main arsenal should be the short and medium range.. and the capacity to make own long range.. the whole spectrum of BM and some potent cruise missiles also..

50? to be precise it was 536:You mean 50 Scuds..Then Iran also bought some from Libya and hit Iraq with them..
The fact is.. that war was finished when Iran started developing its missile program in the 90s..
The other fact is:
Under the 2010 United Nations Security Council Resolution 1929 Iran is prohibited from undertaking "any activity related to ballistic missiles capable of delivering nuclear weapons, including launches using ballistic missile technology".[1] After the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action was signed in July 2015, there have been a series of missile tests performed by Iran:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iranian_missile_tests
- On 10 October 2015, Iran tested precised Emad missile that has a declared range of 1700 km and a new precision guidance system[2]
- On 21 November 2015, Iran reportedly carried out a test of the Ghadr 110, having a range variously reported between 1500 and 2000 km.[3]
- On 8 and 9 March 2016, Iran test fired several missiles, including the Qiam 1.
- On 29 January 2017, Iran tested the medium-range Khorramshahr ballistic missile that flew 600 miles before exploding, in a failed test of a reentry vehicle.[4]
- On 23 September 2017, Iran tested another ballistic missile after showing it off at a military parade in Tehran.[5]
- During January 2018, six live Qiam missiles were fired into an ISIS stronghold in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor province in.[6]
- Between February and August 2018, Iran conducted seven test flights: one Khorramshahr, two Shahab-3 variants, one Qiam and three Zolfaghar ballistic missiles. According to the president of the U.N. Security Council, was “in violation of resolution 2231” because the missiles were all category I systems under the Missile Technology Control Regime and capable of carrying nuclear warheads.[7]
- In August 2018, Iran’s defense ministry unveiled two new missiles: the Fakour and the “Fateh Mobin” (Bright Conqueror), the latest addition to the Fateh-series of short-range tactical ballistic missiles with a range of about 1,300 kilometers (810 miles).[8]
- On Dec. 1, 2018, the Khorramshahr medium-range ballistic missile was tested at its facility near Shahrud, in northeast Iran.[9][10]
- On Feb. 2, 2019, Tehran announced the successful test of the Hoveizeh cruise missile with a range of more than 1,350 kilometers (838 miles) during celebrations marking the 40th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.[11]
- On Feb. 7, 2019, the Dezful ballistic missile was unveiled, with a range of 1,000 kilometers (600 miles). Iran’s Press TV quoted Hajizadeh as saying the Revolutionary Guards will “continue missile tests … and plan to carry out more than 50 missile tests each year.”[12][13]
In his responses, Pompeo made clear the administration's preference that Saudi Arabia buy US technology, a possible nod, multiple US officials said, to internal opposition inside the Trump administration to restrictions on US sales of ballistic missiles to the Kingdom.
"There've been those who've urged the United States to take a different posture with respect to Saudi Arabia, not to sell them technology," Pompeo said. "I think you see the risks that are created. It would be better if the United States was involved in those transactions than if China was."
Saddam had a lot of resources and Iraq was rich.. it got some support.. but that is because of the Iranian revolution export attempts in the whole region.. that is a fact perpetrated till now..50? to be precise it was 536:

So it was not 50, and as I said we started our program to respond Iraq's attacks ... Iran bought missiles from Libya but they left Iran and took key parts of the missiles .. within 2 month we managed to make those missiles operative and fired them furthermore Iran started developing missile during the war not during 90s.. we started it with Nazeat ... and it has continued till today ..... but it doesn't change the fact that the reason behind Iran decision to start its missile program which was a pure defensive measure against a maniac whom were supported and bankrolled by some well-known regional countries ...
It's just a fact.
Prior to N-deal Iran missile program was prohibited by the UNSC which most of them were adopted under the same democrats aka Obama administration (1929 was adopted in 2010/which imposed toughest sanctions too) whom in your view has been crying over the proliferation of ballistic missile technology in the region ... so the argument is basically wrong ... on the other hand even during all years before reaching the JCPOA Iran continued its missile program in despite of that and in all types even SLVs ...So again it's not about Iran N-deal neither ... the UNSCR 2231 which was passed back in 2015 has removed the prohibition which means none of Iran's missile tests are against int. law or any resolution ...
And who are with kiddin with? american? they even sanctioned Iran purchasing commercial airplanes let alone weapons .. it took Iran 10 years to receive s-300 a pure defensive weapon therefore Iran has no other options to work & develop its own weapons like missile to prevent maniac from attacking us ...
But at the end ... you started your missile program decades ago by buying Df-3 from china and has continued so far .. so don't toss Iran in every decision you make ... your military budget even exceeds countries like Russia so it's not about Iran ...
They try to milk a camel.. do not try the same..well if americans can milk the Saudi cow why can't we
Don't worry about the Arabs my friend.. most of them have an arms industry where they make own munitions and spare parts, they also diversify their sources of weapons, this is quite generalized in the Arab world..Iran is revolutionizing warfare....
-first country to use UCAVs.
-first country to stress the importance of a trained, dug in , elite ATGM Heavy force grinding down a western army (2006 Hezbollah Israel war) in assymetric warfare, later emulated by terrorists in Syria.
-developing the broad mosaic doctrine to deter/defeat a technologically superior foe
- assymetric naval capabilities that hold the US navy by the balls in Persian gulf
-tunnel warfare brought into modern warfare (with hamas and Hezbollah preparing nasty surprises for Israel)
and now we see Iran putting all its eggs into a missile heavy force. and showing the lethality of it with pinpoint strikes on ISIS and Kurdish terrorists. and even doing serious damage with crude Yemeni missiles against the western oriented Saudi army costing hundreds of billions of dollars.
after giving hundreds of billions of dollars and buying a euro/American army. The Saudis realized that it would be completely useless against Iran in case of war, and resorting to copying Iranian missile doctrine?
doesn't it speak volumes that out of the hundreds of billions the Saudis gave to west for their military, by far their most threatning weapons against iran are the handful of missiles (that I doubt cost more then a couple billion) from China?
the US also aggressively shuts down the missile programs of countries that potentially could target Israel, (like Egypt) and instead gives them shiny expensive weapons that are completely dependent on American supply chains, and completely useless against Israel.. (tanks that would get slaughtered by the Israeli air force, or downgraded f-16s that would be shot down by the Israelis before they knew what hit them) with the added bonus of an American shut off of ammo, spare parts and support...
"This is certainly something that we all need to keep an eye on," Pompeo said, before adding that "most of the folks who are working to build out missile systems" were doing so in direct response to Iran's ability to continue to enhance its missile program under the 2015 nuclear accord.
"Others are doing what they need to do to create a deterrence tool for themselves," Pompeo said. "It's just a fact."

These same Democrats crying over the proliferation of ballistic missile technology in the Middle East are the ones who have allowed Iran to continue its missile program!!
Do you knew what is Balad-Al-Savarikh (بلد الصواریخ) do you knew the city of dezful alone was hit by Scud and Frog-7 for 176 time and then you are talking about 50 missile ? Do you knew in that city those 12m long missile were fired into 6m streets ?You mean 50 Scuds..Then Iran also bought some from Libya and hit Iraq with them..

No one has "Allowed" Iran to do anything. We are not puppets like you clowns who have your "Country" named after a family of thugs put in power by the British!
