That and the fact that the oldest mosques outside of Arabia were built in Southern South Asia. This also tells a story on its own, I would claim.

I think that West Asia and South Asia, eventually when all petty differences have ended, are bound to have close political ties on most fronts. There is no reason not to. But the same thing could be said about inter-South Asian relations and inter-West Asian relations, many basically equal shooting yourself in the foot.

in my admittedly very sparse interactions with the odd Saudis. I got a real education about how the kingdom is changing and how it works. I like Saudia and wish for them to resolve their issues with the Persians.. first peace, then business and more prosperity for all.

There was no Arab involvement in Libya other than Qatar. Provide evidence of that being the case.

BTW Gaddafi was an Libyan Arab with ancestry from KSA.

As for NATO involvement, I don't agree in forceful regime changes from the outside, they rarely amount to anything good, but it speaks volume how weak his regime was that it was falling apart before the NATO intervention.
