I am in Turkey, I know many, many arabs here. Turkish companies have people who can speak Arabic, but not even English.

So what bullshit are you on about? Ever seen how Arabs treat outsiders? Oh, forget outsiders, GULf Arabs don't even treat Arabs from North Africa, Syria or Iraq as equals. Joker.

We know the great influence that Arabs have had on Turkey on almost every sphere. Even to this day Arabs are one of the largest native ethnic groups of Turkey. The First Lady of Turkey is ethnic Arab.

As for the nonsense claims of imaginary "Gulf Arabs" (no such thing), treating other Arabs bad, where do you have this nonsense from? Do you have any legal, historical, people to people facts/experiences to confirm this imaginary reality? I am very curious. My family (distant as close relatives) and ancestry is certainly disproving your nonsense. As if that of millions of others.

Today Arabia is a cradle of Islam's destruction, so quit with the history lesson. Every civilization contributed to the world, and every civilization had its fair hand in propagation of Islam, you people are not the light and shining armor of Islam. Quite the opposite now.

What I wrote were historical facts. Your post is just personal nonsense. "Cradle of Islam's destruction". Ok. Strong argument. Did I state that no other civilization contributed to the world? No, I did not, as that would be an utter absurd claim and a false one at that too and I don't deal with lies/falsehoods.
I just wrote that the Arab world (factual statement) is the cradle of civilization as it is home to the oldest recorded civilizations and the most important ancient civilizations.

Islam was mostly propagated by Arabs which is what I wrote. That is not a lie.

My post was a reply to nonsense troll posts and lies aimed at Arabs out of nowhere and as a reaction to a nonsense lie (the news of this post which I already argued why is the case which Pakistanis users knowing about actual KSA/GCC/Arab affairs, agreeing with).

Anyone who believes the nonsense of deporting 4 million Pakistanis is a very gullible person. Nothing more needs to be said. I argued my case in detail.

any way i

i know very well that None of real Saudi approves it ..but this still does not change the fact tht disrespected whole Turkey ....any way we have some shia Turkish and leftist which hate Araps and trying to show araps bad in Turkey and spreading false things about Arabs.Real peopleof Turkey love all muslims.. .i may hate Rulers of SA but not the people.. our goverments can fight and hate each other still i will still like them...

Trolling on PDF aside, the feeling is mutually by the majority of Arabs and Turks. There is no reason to fight or have conflicts while our real enemies are laughing. But as you know, online forums like PDF is like this often and the internet in general.

Don't forget Arab-Turkish intermarriages throughout the ages. I don't know if you are taught this part of history in school in Turkey, but Arabs have a very long presence in Anatolia, in particular Southern and Eastern Turkey. Long predating Islam. So we know very well that many people of Anatolia have Arab ancestry aside from the Arab Turks and this is also something that DNA tests confirm. Likewise there are people of Turkish (Anatolian) ancestry in the Arab world. We are neighbors after all.

This might be a surprise for you, but this is the same story with Iran, in particular Iraq and GCC (quite frankly mostly only them). I would argue that Iran has even more Arab influence than Turkey. But this is politics, it is always dirty and rulers are always looking for more influence/power. Rarely is the world blessed with truly great leaders who look at the bigger picture and do what is right.

But that aside, no Arab patriot will accept hostile/negative meddling even from a close people be they Turks, Iranians or others.

By that logic we should all embrace Israeli Jews, since 2/3 of them are Israeli Arab Jews (origins) and many look identical to us seeing that they are originally from Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Morocco etc. In fact Israel should be our closest ally using that logic. Geography, language, the 20-25% "Israeli Arabs" aside as well. Not the case, on the contrary, we have not fought more against a single country in the region in the modern era.

I was watching your old posts, really interesting, hats off to you. Arabs like you are a rare gem indeed. My normal encounter with arabs has as usual been with the normal guys, not into knowledge and all. Keep it up !!!

A united Arab world that is Islamic

Make sure to have 10 kids.

We will have to fulfill our deeds of procreation as well as our deed of being serious with a woman and guarding her. The recent liberal ways of sleeping around are not acceptable.

I am saddened by the weakening of the mutawa'een in Saudi-Arabia.

Pakistan started with 38 million people and now we are 220 millions.

People here keep on blaming economy, politicians and policies but don't blame overpopulation which is root cause of our current situation.

We still have time. Be a good responsible parent and have 1 or 2 kids. Educate and feed them good and build a better future.

Thank you for highlighting this ever growing issue.
No matter how strong and firm religious background i am from, i will always support governmental policies on birth control because poverty is on top, and yet, people keep on scoring kids, letting them out wild on roads, no education for at least one more generation.

Can you imagine how disastrous it would end up ? Being stuck with illiterates for another 50 years ? Immediate actions must be taken regardingly.

Policy to introduce birth control on the basis of income and educational affordance must be introduced. Those who can afford should have x number of kids but not exceeding.

The ministry of foreign affairs in Indonesia will happily push Indonesia toward our South East Asian and East Asia relative compared to muddle headed and religious nutcase of Arabs and Middle East, thats had been showed by most of Indonesia high profile visits is more toward China, South Korean, Japan and ASEAN countries like Thailand or Singapore compared to Middle Eastern region. We will shake our relationship with Arabs if not for Mecca and Medina not in Saudi and Jerusalem as the third holy city not in middle East.

This is wrong. I don't know what you consider as "normal Arabs" or which Arabs that you have ever met in your life if any (no offense meant at all but I get suspicious when I read such comments) but I would like to inform you that literacy rates in the GCC are some of the highest in the world, that GCC (KSA in particular) has has highest rated universities in the Muslim world, that KSA spends the most money on education and science in the Muslim world (next year's budget, more money is allocated for education than any other area), people speak English decently (70% of the people are under 30 years old so exposed to Youtube, gaming, movies, series etc.), English ability in KSA depends if a person has studied abroad, which 100.000's if not millions have in the past 50 years) and where they are from in KSA and if their English teacher was crap or good) and people are generally well-informed and KSA for instance has one of the highest percentage of university degree educated people in the Muslim world as well as one of the highest number of patents. But due to the many different pronunciations in Arabic, Arabs tend to pick up foreign languages rather easily.

Now, since most of people, regardless of nationality, do not focus on the topics that we focus on here on PDF (engineering, military matters, history, geopolitics etc.) we might believe that nobody is like us but this is not the case as when you speak casually with normal (average people) you are not talking about such topics and besides people have different personalities. For example I am very open in person and like to talk with people, even strangers, while others are very reserved. In KSA many people tend to be reserved, women in particular, as it is not very normal to talk with complete strangers, especially non-locals, even more so if your English is not the best.

That would be like me saying that Pakistans on PDF are very rare, as almost 40% of all Pakistanis cannot read and write, and almost half of all Pakistani women. Do you know what I am getting at now?

BTW Arabs have always valued courtesy, education, poetry, story telling, science etc. However when a country undergoes extreme and rapid industrialization like KSA and urbanization (an any developing country) as well as large wealth, not all people can handle it but quite frankly all the stereotypes where always mostly the elite, the average person no way.

This nonsense of because Pakistanis cannot obtain citizenship easily in KSA and the GCC (it would be the same case in Iran btw), the people are somehow elitist or racist, but people don't understand that the same goes for fellow Arabs next door, be they Yemenis, Iraqis, Syrians, or Jordanians (I am against that) but such laws are created for the wealth to stay in national hands, as otherwise KSA would be flooded by literally 20-30 million non-natives.

While we speak Horners are crossing the almost 4000 meter tall mountains that divide KSA and Yemen. There are millions of African migrants in war torn Yemen to give you a perspective waiting to cross into KSA illegally. I saw an insane photo of them in Yemen (crossing isolated mountains) and I am trying to find it and the article to post it here. It had somewhat of an impact of although I am aware of illegal Africans trying to cross into KSA for many years and I see them all the time on the streets when back in KSA.

It is a tragedy, but what can you do?

Ohh My God !!!

By normal, i am talking about “shababs”;).

It is quite normal to encounter more of an entertainment seeking person instead of the scholar/professor type. Yeah, same is the case in Pak and i believe everywhere.

But, what I actually meant was, whenever I encounter an arab speaking on international issues with firm background research and knowledge, it makes me happy to see you guys also getting out of your “boundaried life”, (Arabs usually have this good habit of keeping to themselves and their issues and not giving shit about others).

Secondly, as for the figures of read/write you mentioned, those are wrong, I wouldn’t blame you as are quoting what you read on internet. Speaking/writing English doesnt make one an educated person, hell, even having a degree doesn’t ensure that UNLESS AND UNTIL the person uses his education to control his mind and tongue.

By far, the most geeky and professor-ish arabs i have encountered are Egyptians and their local education system is also very strong as compared to UAE/KSA (don’t mind please, some of our own systems are even shittier)

Sure.

As for most Arabs being disinterested in politics publicly, this is because of well-known ground realities and reasons, such as politics not being discussed in public, but only among ourselves. I hope that this will change one day, when the regimes in power lessen their political grip which is inevitable. For instance some countries are much more progressive on this front than others, for instance Kuwait is basically a democracy with a constitutional monarchy, but at the same time it is a very weak country for that very same reason, as political parties are always fighting and the regime is not very effective as it once was. Here KSA, UAE, Qatar and even Oman (where the Sultan is truly loved by almost all Omanis) things are much better. You can use the China-India analogy a bit here. Take a look at Lebanon as well or Iraq. Democratic states by name and de jure but the situation is not ideal and those states, in particular Iraq, were much more prosperous/stable, when ruled by strongmen/military.

Actually KSA education sector is much, much better than Egypt's as well as our literacy rates and I love Egypt and they are neighbors of my region (Hijaz) and all of us Hijazis have partial Egyptian ancestry and Hijazi Arabic is the closest to Egyptian arguably.

BTW, most/many Arabs are geeky on the fronts that I mentioned as we have a very rich history and are taught history from a small age and almost all Arab families want their sons and daughters to be doctors, engineers, lawyers etc. To as I said it depends on the individual, their age and personality and interests. You don't learn any person by having a casual quick discussion unless they are willingly telling you about their life story which I don't know any person who does when talking with strangers for the first time, lol.

As for the education bit.

I don't say that a university degree makes you intelligent, by no means, I am just saying that it gives you some ballast and knowledge where you are expected to be more informed/more knowledgeable than a person who cannot read or write in Pakistan for instance. With all due respect. On the other hand, millions of people with no university degrees, have other types of knowledge, for instance a mountain dweller in some village in KSA that never went to university, he will know much more about survival, hunting, agriculture, breeding of animals, poetry, old sayings, history of the region, life experience than a young person such as me. Intelligence is varied.

Arabic influence needs to be removed.

1. I speak from first hand experience when I say Arabs of gulf countries are racist towards other arabs. If there was so much love, Saudi Arabia would've taken the >3 million arabs, not Turkey.

2. You state Arab history with such nationalistic pride, it almost makes me want to puke.

Bottom line is I don't care about history, or influence. It is no secret that Saudi Arabia pressured Pakistan, and that we will never be happy with. Now bark all you want.

Not true, and any Arab from the Gulf states that is racist towards other Arabs will require Arabization as he/she will not represent Arabism. Same vice-versa.
