If you think that Turkey deploying troops in the bordering countries is the same as countries like France projecting its power and sustaining overseas operations (logistically etc.)......

France is involved in operations in Africa,in Middle East and maintain also a military presence in these continents.

It has soldiers all over the sahel,in western Africa,in eastern Africa,in Lebanon,Syria,Iraq in the EAU. France sent an aircraft carrier with an escort group to Syria/Iraq and also deploys equipments (such as artillery) in the area.
We are the 2nd country deploying the more aircrafts (36 Rafale) after the U.S.

Our overseas territories allow us to maintain a presence all over the world.

Same goes for the british forces.

Truth be told, after the US, it's Russia, U.K and France that have more power projection (not just military but also diplomatically and ability to influence nations around the world) capabilities than any other country . Plus these countries are involve in military operations around the world, with their troops/bases scattered around the world. something none of the other countries mentioned above even comes close to(apart from their wildest dreams).
