Erdoğan not happy with India-Middle East-Europe Corridor

That doesnt change the reality

REAL TRADE CORRIDOR

China is economic super power with export rate of $3,7 trillion to compare with India ( only $767 billion )

and Turkiye is at a key position in the Belt and Road initiative project of China

keep dreaming with useless Indian route
India is poor backward country with 1 billion poor people

How much of Chinese exports of $3.7 trillion go to Europe ?

Out of 767 billion 40 percent is service

Indian merchandise export is not even 400 billion which is even lower then that of Hong Kong.

Total merchandise export to eu countries is barely 50 billion lol

Very feasible trade route lmao

Value of Indian exports to the European Union in financial year 2023, by country of destination

The Netherlands : $21 billion
Germany : $10 billion
Belgium : $8.8 bil
Italy : $8,6 bil
France : $7,6 bil
Spain : $4,6

total of almost $70 billion

on the other hand
The EU's imports from China totaled €626 billion in 2022

Even the value of goods and services exported from Turkiye to the EU27 countries amounted to approximately $103 billion in 2022

-- In 2022, exports from Israel to the European Union (EU) reached a value of nearly $18 billion

-- European Union Imports from Saudi Arabia was $46 billion during 2022

How much of Chinese exports of $3.7 trillion go to Europe ?

The EU's imports from China totaled $672 billion in 2022

on the other hand
The EU's imports from India totaled nearly $70 billion in 2022

Turkiye , Azerbaijan , Kazakhstan exports to the EU : total of $165 billion
The EU's imports from Turkiye totaled $103 billion in 2022
The EU's imports from Azerbaijan totaled $32 billion in 2022
The EU's imports from Kazakhstan totaled $30 billion in 2022

India , S.Arabia , Israel exports to the EU : total of $134 billion
The EU's imports from India totaled $70 billion in 2022
The EU's imports from S.Arabia totaled $46 billion in 2022
The EU's imports from Israel totaled $18 billion in 2022

This proposal literally has the containers travel through the Israel leg on trucks as well.

Container goes by sea to Israel, travels by Truck in Israel to the Rail in either Jordan or Saudi Arabia, travels by rail to UAE, and then gets shipped by sea to India.

An Absolutely Clownish Idea.
Why will it travel by truck in Israel when the countries have signed an agreement to set up a rail corridor?

It is not the idea but your understanding of it that is clownish.
Turkiye is an energy hub in the region ... and Turkiye can not cut Israeli gas exports to Europe

there will be international agreements
In fact, a natural gas pipeline agreement between Israel and Turkiye , that would make the two countries strategic partners.

EASTMED project is a dream that won't come true without Turkiye

Israel can only use Ships for gas export
but this will increase the cost and Israel will not be able to make much profit.
Israel doesnt have huge gas reserves
The Israelis have seen how Putin tried to blackmail Europe on gas. I am sure they will do whatever it takes to ensure that no Muslim country can do the same to them.

Russia is selling its own gas to Europe

on the other hand , Turkiye will be energy hub for Israeli gas to Europe via Turkiye

Russia can stop selling its own gas to Europe
but Turkiye can not cut Israeli gas to Europe ,,,,

Why would anyone risk that trade by passing through land on various countries ?

Why would anyone risk that trade by passing through land on various countries ?

You mean via the IMEC?

Well... if the estimates of 30% cheaper and 40% faster compared to the Suez rate are actually true, then there are millions of reasons to do so.

Plus the idea is that by opening up a new trade corridor it would get the ME transit countries involved in trading with new markets and the overall trade would rise. A rising tide lifts all ships etc...

USA uses puppets to counter China's $1 trillion BRI project

The real question is

backward India - S.Arabia can counter China’s BRI Project with IMEC project ?

-- China is now in some areas and by some measures a world leader in high-tech

-- China has become a centre of global production

-- China aims to establish a vast network of railways, energy pipelines, and highways to connect countries across Asia, Africa, Europe ........ and China has signed cooperation documents for the project with over 150 countries

India-S.Arabia dont have enough technology and production capability to match with China

It seems , India, the European Union, USA and Saudi Arabia declared economic war on China
not ERDOGAN ,,, but Chinese leader Xi Jinping shouldn't be happy

Yet the EU is investing in a corridor with Saudi and India and not China. That is because they want the numbers from China to go down and from India to go up.

Most of the Chinese exports are low-technology goods that can easily be sourced from any other country.

So funny
Backward India and China never can match with China

China high-technology exports are products with high R&D intensity, such as in aerospace, computers, pharmaceuticals, scientific instruments, and electrical machinery

and in 2022 , high-technology exports for China was nearly $1 trillion

Broadcasting Equipment ($231B), Computers ($192B), Integrated Circuits ($158B), Office Machine Parts ($101B), and Telephones ($53.9B).

China is the largest exporter of technology

1 -- China nearly $1 trillion
2 -- Hong Kong $431 billion
3-- Germany $210 billion
4 -- USA $169 billion

Most of these don't involve any cutting-edge technology. A 500 USD desktop and a supercomputer are both classified as Computer, but one is very different from the other.

Having read the source for the "40% faster" talking point, it shows in the footnote that it takes an assumption of 10 knots speed.

This means that if the container ship is moving at 14 knots, it should theoretically reach the same speed as the proposed IMEC route.

The "30% cheaper" talking point will be impossible to accurately determine before the project runs for a decent amount of time.

No, that is incorrect. The IMEC route has a substantial rail component and trains will travel at a speed significantly faster than 14 knots.
Also, why would you assume a higher ship speed for the Suez route but not for IMEC ?
