To be honest East Pakistan was never suppose to be with Pakistan. East Pakistan had more commonality with India then Pakistan and plus it did not even share border!

Maal e Ghanimat is when fighting a foreign force.
Before December 1971 Bangladesh was as much part of Pakistan as Lahore and Pakistan army had plenty of Bengalis.
They were not invaders of occupiers , but in their own country defending against am armed insurgency called Mukti bahini. So your assertion of "Maal e Ghaneemat" is as absurd as it gets.
From November 1970 Bhola cyclone to about January 1971 when Mujeeb pounced on a humanitarian situation and used it for politics and started armed campaign to grab power, Pakistan army was only busy in relief work.
From January 1971 to March 1971 there were sporadic gun battles in which Mukti Bahini took a beating and ran to northern jungles, regrouped and re armed by India and came back fighting in around April may .
The all out war between Pakistan army and Mukti Bahini only lasted 4 months , between may and October, and all this time Plenty of Bengalis were in Pakistan army uniform, paramilitary uniform , police uniform and fighting alongside Pakistan army.
In October Major Zia, husband of Khalida Zia captured Chittagong radio and announced freedom. Only then Bengalis in Pakistan army , police and paramilitary changed sides.

So , don't you think that if Pakistan army was so mercilessly killing Bengalis and raling women, at least the Bengalis in police, paramilitary and Pakistan army had revolted earlier than October 1971?
