The Chief Grade 22 Chaprasi should be saluting the Defense secretary and the only time he would have a glimpse of the PM is maybe on 23 March.

Another 4 star General Grade 22 Chaprasi should be saluting the Interior Minister.

111th brigade should be transfered to Tharparkar. They can launch a DHA scheme there in partnership with Zardari.

The security of the PM should rest with special units of the police.

111 Brigade is already trained for security, Transferring it out of Army along with some SSG and making it dedicated department (Not under Army in any way) for security of VVIPs will be quick and doable solution than raising from police who doesn't know anything other than being street thugs.

Well, I wasn't expect that much bold decision by courts, bigger challenge now is getting it implemented.

If courts are able to get the decision implemented and PTI is able to secure the number of seats which surveys project then it should immediately start campaign in Sindh and Baluchistan to ensure majority provincial govts. in these provinces as well and at-least 2/3 majority in National Assembly so that it can do necessary amendments in constitution. First amendment should be to reduce the powers of COAS and bringing check and balances, and extracting 111 brigade from Army and making it independent headed by 4 star general (equal to COAS in rank) responsible for security of Prime Minister and President.

When it will be turn of Army, they may climb the walls. So, I think PM/President security shouldn't have anything to do with Armed forces.

I dont think its about popularity reducing in that time, concerns around destroying PTI to make it not able to stand elections in any meaningful way, arresting or worse killing its leaders. If you put the politics to the side economically its suicide as well to wait another 6 months and create further instability. Elections would deal with the political mess and would stabilise the bleed IMO. Whoever comes in will have a big job to fix the current mess and very difficult decisions need to be taken to get out of the mess.

It doesn't need constitutional amendments for these changes..hell not even legislation are needed
Those are executive powera..but even for legislation it needs a president (which it should have unless elections are kept delayed) and more importantly senate elections which will be hijacked hence why it may need amendment there is elections by laws(again only a act needed IMO)
As PTI still doesn't has majority in senate it's may not get majority even after retirement of half candidates but that can be overcome by joint sessions

Gawadar is too far from main land. It wasn't a port to service Pakistan but to service the region..we can't use gawadar for regular services(twice distance from gawadar to Lahore then gawadar karachi)

Reality is Ik doesn't even need 2/3 majority unless it encounters are hostile supreme court that throws out all legislation calling it against constitution..only then it will need 2/3 majority

IMF is still going to bleed Pakistan. That has nothing to do with the elections. They are taking Pakistan apart piece by piece so as to get their objectives done: (a) Pakistan stops its major interaction with China, (b) reduces or at least makes its nuclear arsenal transparent and (c) hands off some more public assets private.

PTI have already messed up the international relationships and that is one of the major reasons they are being sidelined.
