earthquake in Turkey all turkish members ok?

How is the situation in Greece. Did you experience any tremors?
In Greece we are used to earthquakes, certainly not of this magnitude, usually at 5-6 on the Richter scale and 7 every 30 years.
At least 2-3 times a year.....we "shake it", to every corner of Greece.

It would be a hard time for turkish people.
Just stay strong, helps from the globe are on the way.

No,but the Cypriots felt it.

Greece has sent a team of about 21 firemen with 2 specially trained dogs and a special vehicle and 5 doctors and rescuers as well as some additional personnel I think.

Also Greece , I hope the Turkish government does not do the same as with Izmir.
The team(rescues, paramedics, seismologists, special equipment and dog) is ready since morning and waiting for the green light.

Supposedly they were leaving at 13:00

My mother was crying when they showed images of rescued kids.

So tragic and devastating. I am sure Turkey will come out of this with strong resolve.

I had experienced 7.6 rector scale earth quake in Islamabad in 2005. It was horrifying even away from epic center. Just can't imagine two such huge earth quakes hitting in a single day.

will turkey accept sweden's help ?
If Sweden had a similar disaster, wouldn't we go? Please make some sense. Sweden is not an enemy country and the dispute is about aligning the policies of two countries that will eventually form a military alliance. A total of 45 countries have asked for help. The Azerbaijan team set out in the first hours of the earthquake. Then another team of 300 people set off. Japan was the second country to send teams without waiting for any process. From Iran to Greece, from Israel to Russia, from India to France, rescue teams will come from dozens of countries.

. . . .
Around 10,000 trained search and rescue personnel are now on the ground, along with 3500 military personnel. Together with volunteers, this small army is racing against time. I expect that the total number of the professionals, together with the teams coming from abroad, will exceed 15,000 by night. It is very cold and people are struggling not only physically but also mentally under the rubble.

The earthquake had a devastating impact on a very wide geography. It is estimated that the total length of the first broken fault alone could reach 200 kilometers. The distance between some debris sites is hundreds of kilometers.
