Durga Idol immersion on Navami!!!! Save Hindus of West Bengal

It seems that our CM Mamata Begum has directed Hindus of West Bengal to break tradition and immerse Durga mata idol on Navami itself because Muharrum is on Dashami and the day after.

Good god. Hope next year they wont tell us to do it on ashtami and then in a few years to stop the biggest festival of Bengali Hindus.

This is just disgusting, clearly navami and dashmi are not important dates for Durga puja at all

Banerjee also announced the dates for immersion and urged the police to ensure that it did not clash with Muharram, which falls on October 23 and 24 and coincides with Dashami (October 24) this year.

"Since October 23 and 24 would be the most important dates for Muharram, the immersion dates would have to be readjusted," the chief minister said.
