I already said, it must be immersed before Lakshmi puja as per the religious codes only which is allowable. Why you all are coming up with lame replies and boring me? I am busy in reading something worth reading and stop quoting me please.

Its called Vijaydashami because Maa Durga fought Mahishasura for 9 nights and 10 days, THAT is why Durga Maa is immersed on the 10 th day. ......... not on the 11th day or 12th day.

Vijay Dashami - 10th day victory.

The best part is too see a "battle victory" is pushed back in fear ......... does not get any more Ironic that this.

Smart dude, visit Bengal once during Puja. Even if there is no procession of Muslims, idols are immersed on different days for law and order and environmental concerns. Its better not to speak of something when you don't know about anything about it.

And smart guy, who tells you that idols are NOT immersed on 10th day?Last year, Dashami was on 3rd Oct and Eid was on 6th. The government explicitly ordered that on 6th, idols can not be immersed. Just because this year Dashami and Muharram falls on the same day, the government will naturally postpone the Dashami to a later date (25th in this case) which is not unusual at all. It just has to be before Lakshmi puja, that's all.

Bengalis fingered themselves and they are enjoying it as well.. All these smaller parties are for appeasement politics. In the name of either secularism, open mindedness, liberation, modern thinking, common man, etc etc, these parties end up only walk the appeasement politics route. Thats because Hindus dont want as a group. The day they will start doing it, no party will dare to pass any comments like this...
