@Akhelios you can make a roti? complete rounded one;)
Male are good in cool ( almost chefs are male ) I can cook good too but always fail to make good looking roti:hitwall:

When my family visited me in South Africa about 2 years ago, I decided to cook a dish for them which is exotically African. I settled on an ostrich dish. It was a mission finding halal ostrich (2 members of my immediate family are Muslim) but I managed to get some from a butcher. Marinated the ostrich meat overnight with 24 herbs and spices and then basted it with honey. Grilled it over an open flame for a good few minutes to a medium rare to well done taste and it was the best food they ever tasted.

Too much oil....Though it could look more tempting if some other stuff could have been added like Dhanya but as you live alone it is fine...

It's the melted butter basically. I think I added a little extra. I will take care of it next time.

And yes, since I live alone, I don't care much about garnishing.

:mad::mad: you made me hungry..............
its looks nice..........

Is anybody has idea where i can get spice and good non veg food in Ahmadabad ...i tried here some restaurant but they not spice like i wanted.....

@Spectre Can you help him out ?

I agree with him, non veg food is tough to get but we had an option at IIMA in our mess for non veg thankfully.

Btw there are restaurants at SG highway - Mirchis I think. Then there was Zaika. In old amdavad there are plenty of options specially at night time, it's like the area near jama masjid in Delhi so some people may not want to go there because of obvious reasons chief of them being beef.

If you want to go upscale there is Upper Crust - Pretty good Italian. Tomato and Pleasure trove

Then there are snack corners like R.K omlet where the restaurant is actually shaped like an egg :)

But all in all very few options as most are pure veg, some only serve Jain food that means no onions :(

@Rau

That looks great :tup: but the butter chicken in Pakistan looks a bit different than that of in India..... Or maybe it's got something to do with you being alone :D

The Butter chicken that they serve in restaurants here look different too. I added a bit cream too, but I guess it went down.

Presentation plays a big role in restaurants.
