Exactly.40 percent of hyd and 25 percent of telangana is muslim population.I was also carried away with the emotions a cpl of yrs ago and now i came to my senses.Fortunately MIM which is one of the imp parties in hyd is against tg as they have collaborated with andhra capitalists.Muslims will play a prominent role in tg politics if it is formed which is not at all gud for national interests.

Come on, make some sense. If Telangana State is created, it's population would be 35 million and the Muslims in that state will only be 7 million.

So explain to me Genius, how does 7 million Muslims in a State of 35 million people become a Majority ?

out of 9 dists of tg 3 dists namely warangal,karimnagar and greater hyderabad are very well developed.people are demanding telangana not for any development but for an identity.we people of telangana had a different telugu which is mixed with urdu a generation ago.But now many urdu words have been abandoned due to the influence of telugu media and movies.It was only after the formation AP that telugu had a resurrection here in tg.before tht nizam tried to suppress telugu by imposing urdu on telugu people.

formation of telangana would definitely give these muslims to introduce urdu in pvt schools for muslim students which segregates these muslim students from their hindu friends which is not at at all gud.

In 1956 when force was used to merge Telangana with Andhra State to form Andhra Pradesh, that was a wrong move.

The only advantage of having these many urdu people around is it gives us a gud understanding of hindi .no other part of south india is as gud with hindi as people of telangana(only comparatively).
It enables us to watch and listen hindi movies ,songs and news.but slowly the situation is changing as muslims no longer are talking to their hindu friends in urdu as they used to.the number of people in telangana engaging in hindi entertainment has dropped significantly over the years.

Akbar Owaisi is a fool and this approach to win votes in Hyderabad District is short sighted. You know the history of Owaisi family. I have deep respect for their Father who did a lot for the Hyderabadi Muslims by forming Schools/colleges and Hospitals for the people, but the kids are going in the wrong direction for short term gain. In the long run, such strategy will hurt them as well as the Muslim population of their district.

I always advise Indian Muslims to be fiercely loyal to India. They are Indians first and India is their country. They will live and die in India and such Childish antics employed by Owaisi Clan are short sighted and counter productive, but then again Politicians will be Politicians.

Telangana was the old territory ruled by the Muslim ruler from aurangzeb days ( The Nizam family of Asif Jah). It is the result of that heritage.
