Looks can be deceiving nowadays with cosmetic products but DNA doesn't lie. Korea, Japan, and Chinese has much more similar DNA then the rest of the world. Basically thousands of years of intermingling of people between China, Korea, and Japan made the area pretty homogenous.East Asian is defined differently by some, actually I am confused.
In general, East Asian = South East Asian and North East Asian. Some part of China is actually part of South East Asian (South China).
Indonesian is also vary, same with other South East Asian region.
This is part of my relatives which are West Sumatran in origin

I was mainly talking about China, Korea, and Japan. As for Indonesia, and south east Asian countries in general, the population is much more heterogeneous and each individual person will look different depending on their ansestry. If you are talking about my female relative, I have known her since she is little and without make up, she is really pretty, she is an entrepreneur now, following her father step but making different business that is fit with her passion.
L is the haplogroup associated with the Indus valley civilization if I'm not wrong. Then it proves that lots of indus valley residents migrated to south India as is usually stated.View attachment 848013

North, East and West India carry Haplogroup R1A as their main Y-DNA. Southern Indians carry both Haplogroup L and R1A as their main Y-DNA.

Also shouldn't East India have some haplogroup O in there, showing the east/southeast asian influence?
This map is showing O haplogroup present in east India, could be the assimilation was less towards the paternal and more towards the maternal side and hence is less when taken as percentages in y haplogroup, where R1a and H form the majority.Maybe the graph is specifically about "Indian" where part of Tibet that is included by British is excluded in the picture
Talking about halogroup O

The graph in here is the best that I can find about human migration but not perfect as they dont show the migration of Austronesian from Taiwan into maritime South East Asia

We can not judge genetics based on that
Yes.The gokturks came from present day Mongolia. The Turk culture is different from mongol but they are same family.Orange is close to yellow, it is clear Central Asian is Mongoloid. Real Turkic is Mongoloid
I was talking about the indo aryan language mapThat map is not about language, if we are talking about language the map will be different, Austronesian language for example is clearly different with Thailand, Vietnam, and South China language
