No - this has nothing to do with such folks. we are talking genuinely about massive areas in world where power is not available.

ahhhh okay. well then right you are sir, solar would indeed be a good option for those folks. Bet the small towns in Africa that even have electricity get it from a costly generator.

No... you really have it completely wrong. This is a huge continent; generator is for the rich and fuel supply.

We are talking about sustained solution for low income households.

Surely, low income people cannot afford panels and batteries. Cost needs to be spread over many people thus as a group, a town.

What about people who lack access to electricity? Remember off grid is for those who live in remote areas or in villages that lack access to electricity. Off grid solar system is crucial for the prosperity of those who live in such conditions.

Surely, low income people cannot afford panels and batteries. Cost needs to be spread over many people thus as a group, a town.

This can be possible if government subsidizes it. This can provide a huge boost for the agricultural sector of any third world country.

There is a huge push via NGOs to get this all over the continent. Many govts are also partnering with NGOs.

If NGOs are giving money to Africans to buy things then what is the point of the thread?
NGOs will just go and give an African black hat a life while cheating and spitting on poor Pakistanis and Indians who tried to work and save.

2x10kw inverter

Grid is there but totally disconnected.

2 Stash DIY Lithium Ion batteries make a power wall (Best way is to get em through laptop batteries or Chinese but make sure the quality is oright)
3 set up a solar system using a BMS system

I have few things like these planned once I go back to Pakistan might even set up a company that does such stuff..

Pakistan has one of biggest irrigation network with small canals and even small tributaries which can be used for hydal power... the point where canal and tributaries connect govt can put small turbines and produce electricity..

Correct; dont forget lightening protection. We here are in one of top lightening hit region in the world - GROUND, GROUND, GROUND .

Here we are doing it for many elderly who take care of young; parents are mostly deceased from AIDs. TO date, we rolled over 250+ homes. Gotten the women involved to be able to learn and when we do the work - proper training is provided.
