Did colonization ruin India's image?

Columbus was looking to trade with the East. Which would include China, Japan, and the Indies. Which include Indian subcontinent and east Indies.
Oh so that's how the term "Red Indians" came about. :D
Ok what about Vasco da Gama?
Or Arrian or Biruni's Indica? :D

We are not talking about culture. We are talking about India as a country was created by Britain in 1947.

China was also created in 1950 when CCP united entire after the world war and civil war. There was no united China for almost 50 years, before 1950 united China only existed on a map, not in reality.

I already explained to you. Vasco Da Gama beat up your Indians. India was not a country, just a bunch of kingdoms and tribes. So they can easily pick off different areas from India.

He thought he reached the islands of east indies, so he called them Indians.

You are faking the history, Columbus wasn't looking for China. He named the land he found as West Indies.

True, China was ravaged by warlords for 50 years. Thanks for point that out but you just prove that China was a country as this is the best you can do to show that China was not a country. Prior to that, China was united for majority of its history except during the changing of dynasties. The last time that China has more than 50 years of division was Southern Song. Prior to that, it was during the time of Mulan. And that was for less than 100 years. China was united most of the time in the last 2 thousand years that divided. Only divided roughly about 300 years of 2200 years. 1900 years of being united. India was more divided than being a united political entity.

He thought he landed in East Indies. And he was looking for the place that has spices in South Asia and East Asia. As well as the places visited by Marco Polo that provide silk and china. That would be China.

I never heard China exported spices to Europe. :omghaha::omghaha:

I mean south east Asia. The spice Islands. China export porcelain, silk and china to Europe.

How can they if 'India' does not even exist? :D

Very naughty boy
You spoilt the fun there :omghaha:

India was not a country, but a geographical expression. Like if a country occupied a piece of land in Europe or middle east.

That's another lie, Western China became part of China only 300 years ago when the Qing integrated them into Chinese empire, thus a united China in current shape was achieved only 300 years ago under Qing dynasty. Claiming China as united country for thousands of years is the biggest joke. :omghaha::omghaha:

You should study up on history. In han dynasty, its troops had occupied today's Turkestan. In Tang dynasty, Chinese troops face off against the Abbasid Caliphate in Furgana valley in today's Uzbekistan.

Of course, India always existed, ancient India refers to geographical location, the subcontinent.
But as a country, India never existed until British created it in 1947

Before CCP united China in 1950, China was a geographical expression with many governments.

Absolutely, indians will deny because it is embarrassing to admit British created their country, but facts are facts.
