BTW, you know it too well that such an incident actually occurred since you lived through it,other wise no reliable facts confirms so,,may be it serves your purpose of instigating discord between chinese and japanese. But remember,China is japan's biggest trading partner,and the trade will only grow,they are interconnected through culture and economy ,all the external discord is mere political maneuvers to workaround US and China ,India is a mere remittance nation of Japan nothing more.

There was a massacre of surrendered KMT troops since Japan didn't take prisoners. The battle of Nanking was the end of the first phase of the Second Sino Japanese War.
