what is the chance that karachi may see development even after declared a province

even as a province, Karachi might not get enough funding and backing/ support from the federal govt.

so the myth that PPP is removed and karachi will see improvement is just a myth unless tested, the myth that karachi province will guarentee the safeguard of karachi rights also depends on how federal govt treats it and remains a myth unless tested, Karachi census was rigged by the federal govt not sindh govt, the establishment also engineered karachi elections, just like the myth that Karachi if it votes federal party will see improvement has been busted.

Since Karachi is part of Pakistan, blaming demise of karachi on sindh govt is not intelligent, federal govt is equally responsible if not more for the state of karachi.

I am a little confused. How does a port city give out 60% of the taxes? Sure, it would have a bigger share of taxes compared to other cities because of the shipping and port related operations and associated taxation. But the stuff that is sent out and received at a port city isn't for itself. So even if among cities, a port city pays more taxes, but these taxes are for goods and services produced elsewhere in a country.

For example, Houston (its compared and named as Karachi's sister city), is one of the larger ports in the US. And so it would have a huge tax based compared to all other cities in Texas. But if the goods and services Houston port exports and imports weren't built in other places within and outside of Texas (Like Dallas, or other states like Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, etc), what would you really send and receive from Houston? Nothing.

Houston by itself, just like Karachi, doesn't manufacturing anything. Its a port of entry and exist and has taxes applied to goods and services built by companies in other parts of the country. So this is a super false assumption that any port city pays 60% of the tax. About 70-80% of this tax is applicable to business and consumers sitting in non-port cities.

I assume this “assistance” from Punjab will happen at the expense of minor children, vulnerable women, actual policing and so on.

Considering the amount of political manipulation that happens in Punjab, inhabitants of the province are well advised to stop being the kettle calling the pot black; and focus in their own taxation and the cessation of ethnofascist ideals they breed.

the quotation that you have given 5BN is not correct. It's more than that there is a huge number of freelancers who aren't even register with PSEB becasue they don't register it. I am sure it's around 8-10 BN as Pakistan is in top 5 or 3 as freelancers.

Having lived in Punjab for 6 years, the level of racism is consistent with the rest of the country. Hence there is no need for some Punjabi savior or otherwise. Each province and its inhabitants regardless of race should focus on their own issues so long as the allocation of resources is made in fairness.

in 90s in karachi punjabis were massacred, the "kalia" prespective is coming from PTM right now, supported by many, not majority, but still many. But let's not go in to that, Pakistan and all the Pakistanis in different provinces have been going through tough times, problem starts when people for their own reasons single out punjabis.

For resources, one can argue and for that the ruling elite have to be questioned, bhuttos are from sindh, sharifs from Punjab, Musharraf from karachi, Jamali and bugatis from balochistan, Imran Khan pashtoon but from Punjab. That's from last 4 decades.

The problem is with the elites ruling this country and every ethnicity and province had their representation at every level but unfortunately they helped their families and bank balances out rather than helping their constituencies and Pakistan. And for commoners it's easy to blame a single province and ethnicity rather than questioning the elite.
