Commerce minister says: Pakistan to give SCO members access to its ports

OK if it will remain a work in progress for longer future then cheer .... its a good reason for you & for your country

why posting here in jealously ....you are not an ORACLE keep your predictions to yourself ....
I did not start the thread. You people should not start threads on things that are not sensible.

We should have not started the thread, we should have not started the project .... actually we should not have born because some of the idiots from our neighbourhood feel 'insecure' ....

what a commendable & worthy logics you have mention here in thread my 'dear Sir' .... don't you think we should look at it once more

Route from Central Asian countries to Pakistan passes through mountain. Route from Central Asian countries to Iran passes on plains. It is easier for them to use Iranian ports rather than Pakistani ports.

I am just saying that the offer will not be accepted.

It will always be work in progress because it does not make any economic sense.

enough sensibility in your posts ....

You should go sell it to the Central Russian states. You lost Russia to Pakistan and you'll lose the Central Russian states too. Mountains provide a gorgeous view, part of the reason you don't let go of Kashmir :enjoy:. Every day, I come across these silly childish posts and you wonder how much the OP had drank before writing the post.

The trading organizations don't need mules to go over the mountains, there is an entire highway system that connects to the post and the trucks, railway system and all can go very easily

We are not insecure. Just pointing out logical flaws in your arguments.

This right here, when starts, will make Pakistan a regional power. Expect over 100 jets for the Navy, and about 30-40 more advanced naval ships to protect Pakistan and other countries trade through Gawader. There are many other implications such as millions of new jobs which will be created in the transportation sector, small businesses like restaurants, grocery stores, etc, along the trade route, gas stations, hospitals, schools and housing boom!!! Easily additional internal economic expansion by a few hundred billion. Awesome work

What do you mean by we lost Russia. We don't have any interest in Russia. We just have a buyer supplier relationship.

Transporting goods through Himalayas is going to be costly. CPEC is over-hyped. China is selling solar energy at PKR 17 to you. In India we make solar energy at PKR 10. For China, Pakistan is just a consumer to fill its coffers.

By the way there is already a working rail link from Iran to Turkmenistan & Kazakhstan. You still have to build anything.

India must immediately protest in UN, UK Parliament, US Congress and Somalian Parliament.

You are as insecure as a women after having kids, when her body changes. Just being honest. India's body's changed a LOT too. The US, the Russians, the UK and some other European countries, and all others now treating Pakistan as a separate country, a huge market and a growing economy. Which in some cases (educated labor and manufacturing), will compete with India directly.

These are some of the countries where India enjoyed almost 90% dominance over Pakistan. Plus add the trader route to it, Pakistan's grip in many situations will expand across the globe trade wise, her military (Navy and the Air Force specially), will be significantly upgraded with newer platforms as they'll need to protect hundreds of billions of trade (to eventually reach a trillion in the next 10-15 years) through SCO countries and the remainder of the world. So all of this is producing anxiety and insecurity and its natural.

You guys would be much better off in doing a no war pact with Pakistan and an EU type of an arrangement so you can benefit too. This Chahabar drama with Iran looks great on paper but it won't fly too much, outside of Afghanistan.

.
Just engage two countries (Russia and China) with CPEC... no one dare to do or even think about hurting CPEC... allowed Chiense Naval Command @ Gawadar... kise ka ********** nikal jana hey hahahha

Why ? Are you so incapable of safeguarding your own interests ?

You have a buying and suppier relationship with Russia? I hear tears not shown on the post. This is a nice verbal cover up to show the world. In fact, you loss the closest ally. Who was going to protect you if the US and Pakistan together came till the 70's? It was the Russians. So SUCH a strategic relationship is now being termed as "buyer and supplier" :omghaha:

And you are not paying transporting for goods and services. The other countries are. I am SURE the Chinese and Pakistanis are smart enough to do good business and fill up the highway with truck and rails. Watch how it unfolds, no need to worry.

Your exports are down. Your economy grows at 4%. Your country is under IMF program. And you think you can compete with India. Right now even Bangladesh is a bigger competitor to India than Pakistan.

Chahbhar is a reality. We already use that port & route for trade with Afghanistan. For CPEC not a single transaction has been done from China through Gwadar.

Russia is now just a trillion dollar economy and we are 2 trillion dollar economy. Russia has been good friends in past but they don't have a future. We will now have only a buyer seller relationship. Going forward India will be big & strong enough to be strategically independent.

As I see things on ground Pakistanis are paying to Chinese for electricity under CPEC. Chinese are not paying anything to Pakistan.

As they say .... 'don't count your eggs before they hatch' or 'there are many a slips between the cup and the lips' ...

Its still a 'work in progress' so in short a lot need to be done a lot .... not just building roads & ports ... but the whole society of Pakistan is required to be rebuilt around the a new strategic concept ....

Most of the people fail to understand two things
  1. This project is not a simple development project but a project of developing ECONOMIC & STRATEGIC stakes of number of regional countries in the ECONOMY & GEOGRAPHY of Pakistan (this what our neighbour don't understand)
  2. What our people fail to understand that this project will increase the POLITICAL (both Internal & Regional) responsibilities of Pakistan
All the benefits which we tend to count prematurely are dependent on lot of Regional & Domestic factors but most important among all of those factor is the PEACE & POLITICAL STABILITY OF WHOLE REGION .... as of now we are paying the price for DOMESTIC & REGIONAL (& on the larger scale International) peace but no one can ensure Enduring Peace by 'just paying the price for it'; Peace can only be ensured by POWER which can deter the DESTABILISING factors & Powers which as of now seems more powerful.
