ISLAMABAD:
Members of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) will be offered to use Pakistan ports once the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is complete, to get access to trade routes through the Arabian Sea, said Federal Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastgir.

Addressing a gathering of Ministers of Commerce of SCO in Xian China, the minister said that Pakistan’s trade strategy focused on developing linkages with neighbours, leveraging geographical location and capitalising on regional connectivity initiatives.

“Cross-border land trade is especially important for landlocked member countries as Pakistan and SCO countries will benefit substantially from greater integration through energy, commerce and transit trade,” the minister emphasised.

I have heard that KPT and Port Qasim are privatizing. When it is happening?

Route from Central Asian countries to Pakistan passes through mountain. Route from Central Asian countries to Iran passes on plains. It is easier for them to use Iranian ports rather than Pakistani ports.

OK no issue ... Iran is also a Brotherly Nation .... but I really want to know 'your' reason for Cheerleading for them in a totally 'irrelevant' thread ....

its about Pakistan & its offer to SCO countries not about INDIA or their perspective in this matter
