Do you recall me posting a thread in january i guess, China which is already partner in huge ukrainian engine firm, further investing and buying the ukrainian counterpart’s share to become sole owner or high stake partner in that company ?
I forgot it, but that was a news, maybe i tagged you on that as well.

long way to go, if China struggling to manufacturing commercial aircraft, most of their indigenous commercial jets projects like ARJ-21/C-919 are using foreign avionics/engine and other components
 
When you read Ukrain, what comes first into mind with regard to Defence? Even though, there isn't much clear for this visit. Could have been a routine PR visit or I would like to talk about Engine thingy.
Engines for Alkhalid tank that's for PA. But for PAF don't know
 
Ukraine could plausibly be interested in AZM. It's an apparent FGFA outside of the traditional East and West camps. If Ukraine is serious about modernizing their air force on the long haul, then some minor funding, R&D, tech support, etc for AZM could come.

A twin engine turbo prop aircraft is currently on the design board at PAC Kamra.

After recovering SAAB 2000's, our engineers have developed expertise in some fields and this twin engine turbo prop aircraft will be sold to airlines and used for Maritime support and AEW&C by the end of this decade.

I think that and the fact that the PAF has an FGFA is starting to draw some interest. Sure, we might not move any orders to the most lucrative markets, but the likes of Ukraine, South Africa, Nigeria, Brazil, etc lack luxuries. So, I think we'll start seeing more visits from 'middling states' in the coming years, especially as things materialize. And if no one's interested in being customers, then there are definitely those who want in on the supply chain (which is where the likes of Brazil, Ukraine and South Africa can excel).

I wonder if PAC's twin-engine turboprop could also end up as the PAF's solution for a lightweight transport (basically takeover from the role the CN235 was supposed to assume in greater numbers).
