I have seen him at Minar-e-Pakistan Public Complaint cell. He is always everywhere for just photos and nothing.

People have reached Mars, meanwhile 67 years and counting 21 big major floods and counting we cannot find a solution for the frequent floods?

Nothing is impossible if we have smart and intelligent people running the nation. if not solving 100%, a big portion of the issue can be solved. But will those who can think about solution be given chance to think about a solution? Okay, we Pakistanis are dumb and not educated then bring in foreign experts and let them find solution.

But then will it be implemented?

We should wait silently for decades even after 67 years till some one from the current lot of politicians or their sons and daughters comes up with a brilliant idea and solves the issue.

.
Well, building a dam on flat land would be quite impossible. :D

I am not saying build dams, but also it does not mean there cannot be other solutions. I am not an expert but what about huge underground reservoirs. What if they store a certain amount of the flood water for later use in those underground reservoirs.

Again I am not an expert maybe the above is also not feasible but if one solution is not successful or not possible it does not mean no solution can be devised and it should not stop us to learn from other countries and try them in our country.

After all the people in the Parliament are supposed to find solutions for issues related to the common man, if the solution is not available in Pakistan foreigners can be consulted and as @Cheetah786 explained they consulted with the Turkish authorities for water and sanitation systems but what happened in the end?

You are correct that solutions are possible, but they all need money and they all need proper management, both of which are lacking.

Money: is available

Proper management: we do not have management to manage let alone proper management.

And one more thing, it requires brains to think and our current lot of politicians neither have brains nor would agree to find local expertise nor would they agree to being in foreigners with expertise to solve the issues. They will only implement the ideas if it comes to their own very intelligent minds.

Corruption is every where, I don't disagree on it be it developed countries or developing countries or even religious states.

In developed countries
Politicians and officials skim the nation revenues for themselves and give the remaining for public use.

In Pakistan
Politicians and officials skim but luckily they do not skim for themselves, the skimmed portion is given for public use and the “left over” 90-95% is shared among the politicians and officials themselves.

And do you think they try to increases the revenues so that they can spend more on public? Of course not, they increase the revenues so that they can get more of the “left-over”

Last week some senior member/s of the Sharif family (no need to mention the name/s) had a couple of sleepless nights, fortunately it was not for the cause of the nation thinking on how to develop the country but regarding the current political situation.

It was to the extent that tranquilizers were being used.

exposed SS big time! shame on him for not even being able to fix a drainage system:disagree:....the very basic thing! oh well he finds it more important to spend money in that ugly buss and roads! show off!!!

This is one of the basic rights of the common man under health and only government is responsible for it.

But no we should not do anything to the parliament and the democratically elected people as it is a violation of the constitution and degrades the holiness of the constitution.

LOL. Hypocrisy exposed. Khattak stays in Peshawar during the day and is only present in Islamabad during night. Its not like he remains in Islamabad indefinitely. Yes, developed world too gets flooded, but they have effective dam and barrages built years ago so they are not flooded every year. While Punjab is flooded almost every year.
