I agree with this and Yes I was really shocked with the fake degree BS...disappointed too...That is why I say PHD degree holders should be in the NA and Senate for a limited term, if educated people come they will make sure people under him are wisely and appropriately chosen. They will know they will have 5 years to prove they are capable and win elections again for a final tenure of 5 years.
Yes, but sadly I will point this out even the educated lot of Pakistan are divided with parties and some are equally with the same ghunda attitude as the parliamentarians ...It is soo hard almost impossible to find one who is willing to work for Pakistan hence why I was impressed with IKF....he seems to have people who really want to work for something....But let me add one more thing, even if they come they will require some 2-4 years at least to just analyze and study the mess and the havoc these “educated” jahil politicians have created since decades and will leave for them.
I had all these things in my head where I thought up of ways to get fresh graduates in as internships to do mini projects for less fee but more for added experience...but its not Pakistani culture and my aunt who is assistant dean has been trying it left and right and has been getting alot of push backs...
Bastards need to understand if you are constitutionally unfit (illiterate) you shouldnt be standing!Musharraf set the requirement of BA for a reason, if the policy makers after him really cared for the nation they would not have violated and overturned the decision but instead they should have enhanced the education system to deliver the best results and provide free education till BA, and later increase the requirement to PHD. But give me one good reason why should they?
They claim because of this a majority of people will not be able to get their constitutional right of standing in elections. I ask them what did the policy makers do to make sure that the education quality and literacy rate will jump by leaps and bounds in say 10-15 years?
Yes Musharaff did a lot of minor tweaks which no one sees because it throws out jahils and hence pointing him as a gadaar is better than acknowledging his changes were stepping stones to change...
Now a days many of the institutes I have studied or worked in have some project in Africa...seriously, even if they are corrupt and left behind they have never ending supply of money from someplace or another be it a drug company, agriculture trial fields, ecology, forestry, conversationalists and so on....Just to let you know we are in top countries having the largest number of non-school going children just behind an African country. 15 years from now what will be their future and in turn what will be the effect on the growth of the national economy and security? it is a ticking time bomb and when the consequences will show up it will be too late to do anything.
Will the current lot politicians at that time work and sweat to fix the issue in an another 5 year term and make the country 70% literate?
Seriously I remember I heard this and my eyeballs nearly fell out!"A degree is a degree! Whether fake or genuine, it's a degree! It makes no difference!" Nawab Aslam Raisani, the chief minister from Baluchistan province who claims to have a master's degree in political science, shouted at reporters.
